We made a reservation but were in the area sooner and therefore went ahead to see if we could have a table, or wait until the time (no problem at all bc looks like a good area to walk around for a bit). The host was super nice and said she was going to check - came back and had a small table in the back for us. The place is really small, two areas connected by a tiny hall but is still cozy to walk and sit. The food was truly superb. I wanted to give this place 5 stars because I love fried chicken so much. However, they definitely used really old oil and you could taste it PLUS it made most of us feel sick. I will say their desserts are fantastic and the hibiscus drink also. The service was good and I give them lots of credit because the place was pretty busy.

Pies-n-Thighs has been a main staple in my house since the pandemic. That chicken biscuit has gotten me through hangovers, birthdays, heartbreaks, celebrations and everything in between. Recently started getting the donuts too which are definitely worth the price! This is the definition of southern comfort food and I'm so glad it's within delivery distance for me.

5 star food, 5 star service, 5 star employees. i have never eaten a burger that big in one sitting, it was just so good i couldn't stop.
