I absolutely love this place. My husband gets the chicken sandwich and I got the hippie banjo. Their fries are always delicious. The staff are lovely and greet you with a smile. I like how they have space to sit in the front of the restaurant but also have a bigger room in the back. They also have outdoor seating.
One of the best fried chicken places in Brooklyn. If you want Southern style cooking then this is the place.
My husband came here during a day date while in Brooklyn. The service was fast and great. We had the toffee pecan donut and a hot biscuit. Both of which were really great! We definitely enjoyed our food and would recommend this establishment.

If heaven had a taste this would be it. Was riding through and saw this place. I've always heard of it. We stopped and i got the hot honey chicken on Biscuit and it was soooo good. And to be honest you can really eat just one and be satisfied. Stop by.ypy won't be mad

We ordered the Fried Pickles, Hush Puppies with Tartar, Mac 'n Cheese, Cornbread, Biscuits & Gravy, Bourbon Pecan Pie, and Key Lime Crumble Pie. This is the first and only good southern restaurant I've found after years of searching in NY. The hush puppies were the best part along with the pies! It's the best birthday meal I could've asked for!

We were super excited for this restaurant, especially since it was featured in Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives". Chicken & Waffles: The wing was very delicious and moist, but the breast meat was a little dry. The waffle was good and the cinnamon butter and blueberry compote were excellent additions.
