Pies ’n Thighs opened in 2006, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge. We took over a beer storage closet in the and transformed it into a tiny kitchen with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches and salty, crispy fried chicken. The New York Times called the pies and the thighs a compelling combination, well executed and put forth with real heart—the sort of restaurant that’s hard to find, especially in the big city, but easy to love once found.

Amazing food and service. Will be returning. The donuts were unreal, took half a dozen to go!

I came back here with a friend to have a mid-afternoon treat. The biscuit, while not as good as I remember, was still flaky and warm. We also shared a slice of the apple pie, which was excellent. We sat outside in the covered portion on the curb. There were heat lamps, so it wasn't too cold (about 55° F when I was there). Service was good.

Came here on a Saturday morning with a group of about 20 for a post-wedding brunch (definitely recommend reservations for any group size because the place gets so busy!). Service was fast and friendly, and they handled having a large group with ease. It's more of a casual vibe here and the focus seems to be around chicken and biscuits. Although I don't eat meat, I would 100% come back here because these are some of the best biscuits I've had in Brooklyn. I even had to order one to go because I needed to savor it again. Pies-n-Thighs never disappoints! I've been coming here for years and it's always enjoyable. I usually get the chicken box but I tried the roasted chicken last night and it's delicious! Don't skip the desserts the banana cream pie is my favorite.

Visiting for the weekend and saw the reviews for this place and we thought we'd give it a try. Oh my goodness....this food is so off the chain it was ridiculous!! My guy was savoring every single bite of his catfish dinner and didn't want the experience to end! And my chicken was on point, well seasoned! Everything was so tender and delicious!! Highly recommend! Only one unexpected twist was the black eyed peas were served as a cold salad type side. Everything including the drinks were delicious!
