Good replacement for the Jandy Ray-Vac I finally punted on the Jandy Ray-Vac and bought this Polaris. Installation was very simple, and it runs around the pool well. There is only one thing I don't care for...it's not as easy to empty out the bag as it was to empty out the compartment of the Ray-Vac. It's kind of a pain, but at least when it is full, the hydro-dynamics of the Polaris are not compromised nearly to the degree of the Ray-Vac. Overall, after a few weeks, I am satisfied. I LOVE MY CLEANER Ok so I read all about different cleaners so I can't compare, but we put in a new in ground 16x 24x37 L shaped pool, it is a large pool! I run my Polaris at night and I have never had to clean the pool manually, he does it all! All I have to do is clean skimmers out and brush the steps off! He is amazing, parts are cheap and he is easy to run and repair! I bought the sand silt bag and would use nothing else but that bag. Good pool cleaner When you first think of how a pool cleaner should work you intuitively think of a suction cleaner or one that is powered by the suction side of your pool pump. Interestingly those are problematic. The positive pressure side cleaners are more reliable. This one is a positive pressure cleaner. It is like hooking a hose up to your pool cleaner and the pressure from the incoming water from the hose powers the cleaner. At first I didn't think it would work but it does and it works well. Great Product I ordered and quickly received the Polaris 360 Pool Sweep within 3 days. It was very easy to install and it keeps the pool very clean. After 3 weeks of use we have experienced no problems and the new Polaris does an excellent job of cleaning all areas of the pool, including the steps and sides right up to the cool deck.
Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 This product is really slick. The only negative was the instructions on how to cut and adjust the hosing. It took me about 30 minutes to figure out the reverse thread plastic nut on the ends had to unscrew, cut the hose and then reapply the nut. Other than that, the sweeper works great and has cut my pool cleaning down significantly each week
Perfect Sweep for Smaller Pools The Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 is the perfect sweep for our small in ground pool. It was absolutely easy to install. It does a fantastic job cleaning the entire pool in a couple of hours. We followed the enclosed instructions and had it running in about an hour. Had to make a couple of adjustments to get it to clean the malibu deck but otherwise it was perfect from the start. Excellent Buy! Excellent transaction. It was exactly what I ordered. It came in a very timely manner. I hooked it up in 5 minutes. It worked perfectly. And, it cost about half what it would have cost at a pool store. I couldn't ask for anything else.
fantastic buy! We love this Polaris 360. It was so easy to hook up and does a fantastic job. I have several trees near my pool so I run the pool vac daily. There's nothing ever on the bottom anymore. I have a 19x33 ft. pool and it swims from one end to the other and up the walls very quickly. We leave it in even with the grand kids swimming.
