Ok for normal pool with no odd shapes or steps All these type cleaners are about the same. Overall they clean well as long as there are no large objects in the water and there are no steps or odd shape designs. I have tried everything to relieve it getting stuck on the steps. But it spends a good 50 percent of the time stuck on the steps. I thought that the three wheel configuration would do a better job not getting stuck than the four wheel. Excellent vacuum sweeper for in ground pools I made the mistake of purchasing my first Polaris years ago directly from Polaris. Purchased the new one from Amazon and was able to save a lot of money. Excellent vacuum sweeper for in ground pools. Cleans all sides, steps and entire bottom. Works like a charm!
