Pool Vacuum Vacuum had no suction at all and would not go to deep end of pool. I did all prosper things and let vacuum learn pool but it stayed in shallow end and did not pick up much in pool. I had to attach vacuum old fashion way and it cleaned my pool beautifully. We have other polaris products, but this is not one for me.
Excellent Pool Clean-Up with Easy Remove Filter! The caddie makes this robot convenient to move around. Strong vacuum action. Cord swivel ensures no tangles. Easy to remove and clean filter. Great job navigating odd shaped pools with uneven floors. Climbs and scrubs walls. Remote 'Lift' mode makes removing the robot from the pool very easy.

I bought this after having sent back a Dolphin triton that made me tear my hair out the first day. Might have been a lemon but it didn’t work out of the box. I don’t think that’s too unusual for Dolphins which I used to use when they were dependable. I will miss it after the robot uprising Fantastic pool robot. Saves me hours of work and lets me just enjoy my pool. They claim this thing will handle steps but it doesn't seem to, not in my pool at least. Its okay, it does such a good job on the rest of the pool that i'll deal with having to brush the steps by hand. The remote is really convenient for repositioning the robot when it comes time to retrieve it, I thought the remote was going to be a silly gimmick but I'm actually really really glad I have that feature now.
Worth it! We had one before...then replaced it with a different brand trying to save some money...but we went back to the Polaris and are so glad. It cleans much better! It handles then sides without getting caught or hung up. It leaves the pool sparkling clean. We did get the 4 wheel drive and know that helps with the navigation in the pool. It's just worth it.
I was skeptical... Your browser does not support HTML5 video. But this thing here...our pool hasn't been this clean since install! It even climbs the steps and cleans the splash decks. Far exceeded expectations! I still need to figure out the remote and programming, but that's just finding time to read about it.
