it's easy to use Hard to imagine a product that has more surprised on the upside. We suffered through the in-pool device with all its pipes and spraying until we discovered the Polaris. We removed all that junk, and clean the pool now once a week, enjoying a pristine view the rest of the time. It works, it's easy to use, and it contributes to the joy of pool ownership.

Works great I first purchased a Dolphin Nautilus pool cleaner since this had great reviews. The unit I got was defective and returned it the next day (Unit just stayed in one corner of the pool, barely moving and 2 of the buttons on the control panel were nonfunctional). Polaris In-Ground Pool Cleaner The cleaner does a great job, even gets the finest sand off the bottom. I can run two cycles every other day and the pool stays clean. I like the fact that the debris is not going to the main filter unit. It is very easy to clean. I absolutely love the Lift system. The unit comes to the surface and I can retrieve the unit from the pool by myself. It is a tad heavy for an older person. Control unit is easy to operate.. Well worth the money.

Large trash bin that's easy to clean but doesn't clean the sides of the pool. Only does the waterline and bottom of the pool. I've had mine for about a month. Features I like: It tells me when it's full on the control panel; The bin that holds the waste material is very large; It is easy to remove the waste bin and clean it. It's powered by electricity instead of my pool pump so it doesn't seem to lose power; It has a setting to only clean the waters edge and does a good job; Removing is is far better than my old Polaris sin... read more
Fantastic!! We live in Northern Texas, and have a 20x50 cement pool. Last year was our first living here, and keeping the pool vacuumed with the filter vac had to be done at least 3x a week to keep up with the dust/pollen/leaves. Great but it gets clogged up if the pool is ... Great but it gets clogged up if the pool is real dirty. Shows an error code 004. Screen is flimsily so don't use a full force garden hose to rinse it off. It will tear the whole thing loose. All in all it will do a good job, but not for initial clean up!
