Polaris EPIC 8640 robotic cleaner
It’s okay, doesn’t pick up fine dirt. Could maybe use a fine filter to pick the smaller stuff up. Overall would not recommend if fine dirt is something you deal with.
you never sent me my $50.00 rebate. the return yellow card that came with the Polaris was returned to me by mail because it was not a valid address. but other than that it's fine. i would give it a 5 star, but after purchase service sucks.
Short cleaning time of 2 hours and doesn't get the few leaves off the bottom.

Doesn't work. I have to do 2 cycles a day with full bags of cotton balls in it for my pool to look just okay.
What a waste of time to write an reveiw. You will get an response with a phone number and half felt apology for the unit not working up to par. When you call the number for over a WEEK AND GET A MESSAHE STATING ,, DUE TO HIGH CALL VOLUME CALL BACK BACK AGAIN. THEN YOU GET DISCONNECTED. WHAT A F..ING JOKE. Sorry for being ugly, but a week trying to in touch. RIDICULOUS
Does not do a very good job cleaning the pool.
I bought this unit on recommendations of my pool supply company. I owned a Dolphin 20 which worked well but needed a lid latch. He stated he never had a complaint on this Polaris Epic 8640. I bought it and dropped it in the inground pool. I was not impressed with the unit. If you never owned a better one, you wouldn't know the difference. 1st, it doesn't stay on the water line long enough to clean. Maybe 7.. 10 seconds.
