Polaris EPIC 8640 robotic cleaner
Dead in the water shortly after the start of our second pool season. I've exhausted all troubleshooting, and have gone through Fluridra customer support, where I've been referred to several businesses an hour away. One doesn't work on vacuum (even though the company is listed as a certified warranty repair center), second one doesn't have the time and is unable to assist, and the third telephone number isn't in service. So far, it's really easy to operate. My only complaint is that it's not completely cleaning the pool after a complete cycle.

The cleaner does a great job of cleaning, but very disappointed that you cannot create a schedule. Basic operation and should have been included.

Don’t fall for there rebates, we never got ours and even called and acquired about it with no luck. I would not recommend these overall, the auction is not that great and it does a rather poor job at picking up fine dirt off the bottom. We have to vacuum it ourselves in order to get that out. Wish we had better luck because we really wanted to live this and having something to make pool upkeep easier.

This robot is just ok. The operations are pretty simple and easy to use, but unfortunately we have found several issues using this unit in our pool. 1. The control unit shuts down and must be unplugged to “reset” it. This has happened at all times of the day and night. 2. This unit is constantly flipping over or getting stuck on our tanning ledge. We have to physically right it and then go to the control unit to start it again. 3. The “dock” for the robot is cumbersome for robot and cord storage. There is not enough space... read more
