Warranty is void if you install yourself The Volute cracked on install but the part is not covered if you don't use a certified installer. You are on your own. The pump is great otherwise but I will have to buy a new $60 part to stop leakage.

this item will work less than a year I bought this item, prior to me leaving for work in Africa, I had it only four months before I received an email from my pool maintenance company saying the motor had stop working, and could not be repaired, I had to buy a new motor. Oh yeah I wrote the company, and to this date no response

Broken supply chain at Polaris? Searching and waiting in vain for >90 days now for re-stock of the impeller (R0536400) for this unit. Can't get an answer other than 'maybe in 2022'. At my wits end and tired of manually cleaning the pool every 2-3 days I'm left with the decision whether to replace the whole booster pump $380+ because the $30 replacement part is nowhere to be found. And this is for the "new" PB4-60, not some older model. Dang you, Polaris, what is going on???

Pump burned out in just over a month Bought this pump to replace the same pump that went bad on my pool. It was the same model and switching it out was a breeze. All connections lined up with the old pump and it worked fine for just over a month. But I noticed the other day my pool vacuum wasn't moving so I checked the pump. The pump has seized up and its been just over a month since I installed it. Not sure if it has any kind warranty but for around $300 it should last much longer than a month
