Poor quality. 2nd one I bought. First one failed in 18minths. This one didn’t even make it a year.
Noisy beyond belief. It does pump water -- but it is the noisiest pump I have ever owned. Absolutely would never buy as a first or replacement. Much better products out there. My pool pump is ultra quiet, and the pump this replaced was also quiet. This pump is so noisy it is irritating. Probably will replace soon with a better quality pun.
Never buy from this seller Within 3 weeks the pump started squalling. Reached out by email to the seller which apparently is overseas and never received any response.Was given no other option for return or replacement.
Cheap made junk This item is cheap china junk. Don’t buy!!! The pump flange is so then the oring blows out . I had to take my old impeller housing and install for it to work
Drain plug issues The Drain Plug leaks constantly. unable to resolve the issue.
1.0 out of 5 stars This booster pump is unsatisfactory and needs improvement I replaced my orginal booster pump after seven years. My Polaris replacement booster pump lasted two years and stopped working. Note that the booster pump is only used 2-3 times per week for 1-2 hours at a time. I would recommend the Pentair - EC-LA01N - 3/4 HP Booster Pump. While it costs more, it is more reliable and predictable.
1.0 out of 5 stars Very loud from the start Just installed it & it is very loud! I don't recommend it. I replafed a hayward brand that was a quiet pump. Now the noise is way too loud with this Polaris pump.
