I got the Polaris quattto sport. I had the debris coming out the back as well. Called my local pool company and Polaris sent out another canister but still seems to be leaking. Also gets caught on top of the drains in the pool and just spins. 1200 dollars and I wanted it to work so bad.

Love the action of the cleaner but the debris escapes the canister and the silt and fine debris blows right back in the pool. As soon as the pump is off the dirt settles right back to the bottom of the floor. $1300 dirt sweeper

Customer service sucks! My $1,000 dollar pool sweep isn’t working after 1 year. It goes in circles at the bottom of the pool. It doesn’t climb anymore. So basically it’s worthless and I’m really unhappy. I have a video of what’s wrong with it and I want to share it with customer service. I have been trying for two weeks to get in touch with someone. I stay on hold for hours, I leave my phone number and no-one calls back, I emailed customer support and finally got an out of office reply today that someone would call me bac... read more

I’ve had a Quattro for about two years. I absolutely loved it until it started breaking down after just 6 months or so. It was in the shop at least 10 times but covered by the warranty so the problems were more of an annoyance. After the warranty expired it suffered a complete collapse requiring a major rebuild that cost me $600. It seems that the cleaner has two big fans on the bottom that high-center on the pool drain which has a lip about 1” high as is mandated by California law. The interference of the pool drain with th... read more

Worst investment I've made. Had a 380 prior. It was amazing at cleaning the pool. I got tired of rebuilding it, which was its greatest flaw. Parts wear out quickly with that model. Bought the Quattro because it was "top of the line." I wouldn't take another one for free. The smallest piece of debri will stop it dead in its tracks. Wall? It'll stop it. Turn in the pool? It'll stop it. Straight shot across the pool? Bet you it'll stop. I pretty much sit there, while it cleans. When it gets "stuck" every couple minutes for zero... read more

I had the Quattro 7 months. Just started to Circle the deep end and I had taking it in for repairs since then brought it home it still does the same thing and will not climb the wall. There is no leaking in the hose and all of the wheels are turning this is very aggravating for the amount of money that we pay for these things. Taking it to the shop again seems unfair to me since it had already been in for repairs 30 days and still isn’t working. Help Polaris!!!

Purchased 2 units in March 2019 Fiberglass Pool: United cleaned very well until this month. Just sits there on the bottom. Gearbox is gone. Gunite Pool: Replaced gearboxes twice. Now the forth gearbox is gone again. As for the "debris doesn't stand a chance" claim, it is no match for pine straw and small twigs. Pine straw wraps around the rollers. Small twigs stop the sweepers and/or rollers causing the gearbox to fail. Never had a problem with the 280/380 series for years. With gearboxes costing $60, this was a bad investme... read more

Extremely unhappy with this unit. It can be found either spinning on the bottom skimmers or stuck in a corner.

I've had the Polaris Quattro Sport for over a year now and have had to replace the feed hose connector 3 times. The feed hose connector is plastic, easily breaks and is apparently a recognized flaw by Polaris. What is the solution to this known and reported weakness? Nothing ever offered by Polaris to solve the problem, is there a redesigned or replacement connector that isn't cheap plastic? I shouldn't have to have a box of replacement $20 plastic connectors on hand just to be able to keep using this very expensive pool... read more
