Polaris 280 Great product. Easy to install and fixed the tail spray. No more spray outside the pool. Not sure why Polaris doesn’t include this on all their sweep vacs.
Effective but wear out quick Stopped the squirting but the tail sponge Lasted only about 4 weeks from wear.
perfect ! it does the job ! not sure about longevity but it's been there for a month now and works without problem so far. good investment.
Stick to the real thing! Tried the aftermarket TailSweep Pros and there is a night and day difference between the Polaris and everyone else. The Polaris tip make the tail hose sweep back and forth like it's supposed to, while the aftermarket causes the tail hose to just drag behind the cleaner. Absolutely worth paying the extra $15-20 for the Polaris!!
Easy to install works as advertised Had issues with losing 1/4'-1/2" of water per day (beyond humidity and temperature from evaporation) out of inground pool with my Polaris 280 shooting water all over the car, patio, and house windows prior to installing this device. It was a quick install with detailed instructions and immediately on first pass the design of tip prevents water from leaving the pool. It was a simple, quick fix that I have been fighting the past two years.
Works perfect Our old one broke so felt the cleaner was working just fine without it. Unfortunately it started spraying the windows, deck and generally pumping water out of the pool. Bought this and it just snaps in place. The cleaner has not "surfaced" again and all the water stays put in the pool. A "can't do without" accessory.

This really does work I was tired of pool water spots all over my back windows so I decided to try one of these. It really does work and it doesn't seem to reduce the effectiveness of the sweeper. The reason for the 4 star rating is because, without modification, you'll probably need to buy one of these every year. The blue clip-on side will eventually loosen up and not stay attached. I used a nylon zip tie strap to hold it on for additional life.
