We toured Portside and it was a lovely facility. When we toured, it was just opening so we decided to go with a place that was more established with more residents. I was concerned with it being so new there would not be enough people to make the activities work. Some of the apartments here have balconies/patios and some do not.

Portside is a beautiful facility, our experience has been great so far. The community is very clean and the staff members are great. We have been so happy. The activities are still limited in some respect due to covid, and the activities are geared toward those in memory care. However they have done a great job keeping our loved one who is more of a recluse, active and involved. They really do motivated her to get involved. We chose Portside at Grande Dunes because my brother lives in the area and he was very impressed with the facility and once I saw it I could understand why. Everybody was very friendly, accommodating, and caring. The apartment sizes here are excellent. We ate here a couple of times and the food is very good. We did have a couple of hiccups with the phone in the beginning, sometimes communication gets lost of forgotten so they could improve on that. I would recommend them.

This community was very nice and they had a very good virtual tour. We just needed a community that was closer to home

I would highly recommend the community to others. The people that work there are a stand out to me. This is one of the affordable places, even being on Grand Dunes. They currently have rooms available for additional residents.

We would absolutely recommend this community to anyone, they are outstanding. They are taking such great care of our loved one, they are already vaccinating their residents and their communication with our family has been excellent.

I chose Portside at Grande Dunes because of the location and my family researched it and liked the reviews the facility got. It is a beautiful place, they just opened a new division of independent living which is very nice and we get new people all the time. We have 4 new chefs so the food is improving from what it was. Overall, I love it here, it is a very warm and loving community.

We chose Portside at Grande Dunes because of the quality of the facility. It was brand new, it had a very bright feeling, it almost felt like you were on a cruise ship. The room sizes were very generous, my father in law had a one bedroom apartment that was very nice. It would be a spectacular apartment for anybody, let alone assisted living residents. This is a very lovely community, the building is gorgeous. When you walk in the entrance it has great big ceilings, three stories tall. You can sit outside the entry way on comfy seats and outdoor furniture. It is covered so you can sit outside even when it rains. The house keeping is good, they keep everything very clean.
