When it comes to the activities, there could be more of a variety, seems the same activities every week. It is very expensive, should have an option to opt out of the dining to save money. My mom eats and cooks in her apt, the dining room is a bit disorganized and the food is hit or miss. I would hope this helps them make improvements. This is just our experience, my mom says other voice similar concerns but many people are very happy there.

All of them a 5! Let me tell you are… My mom actually hasn't moved in but she did sign the contract and she's paying… She has to sell her house and it hasn't sold yet. They have been so nice to work with us to keep the cost down I just talked with the executive Director yesterday and he's doing all he can to make it happen… They are truly amazing there! Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend Portside to other families!

Portside is resort retirement living. The best of everything compared to what we looked at before choosing Portside. My mother-in-law is thriving, and for the first time in years, she states she is happy. I am so grateful for Cecelia, with A Place for Mom, for helping me, and Portside for helping my mother in law live out her days with joy.

We picked this community because, I was impressed by the look as wells as the sales person. The residents were friendly. They have struggled with care givers and med techs. The care that they are providing is not what was promised. I am interested to see the changes in the near future.

My mother passed in November 2021. Dad was so confused and they took great care of him. We chose this facility because it had large rooms and a clean look. The staff have been great. They keep us informed about everything. Housekeeping and laundry are included, also 3 daily meals that smell delicious. They have activities. I would recommend them to family and friends.

the staff at Portside at Grand Dunes really seem to be concerned about residents and do everything they can to make their lives better. it doesn't even resemble an assisted living facility, the residents are very happy here!
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. I think the staff are kind and go above and beyond to assist with Amazon orders and other things. The cost is higher. The meals aren't chef prepared meals that were promised. They haven't been able to meet the dietary restrictions of my loved one. The shuttle is supposed to take the residents anywhere they need to go. The shuttle is currently only able to go to doctor appointments and that is only two days a week.
