Overdue review, but better late than never. At the end of the day, I have a roof that doesn't leak or have problems, but the headache to get it done was not worth it. This is the review I wish I had seen last year when contemplating hiring this company. My experience with Premier began in Oct. of 2015. Their sales man insisted on me to signing a contract before they would give me a bid. Bass ackwards! I already put in the claim to my insurance and had the numbers for them to work with. Even the dimensions of the roof. Would not give me a bid without signing a binding contract. Shady! Beware of this company. Shady sales tactics. Unethical business practices. Don't sign anything untill you get a bid.
If I could give this company a negative score I would. They worked on my next door neighbors house and ended up putting half of their old roof in my back yard and didn't bother coming to clean it up. We've got old shingles, vent covers, and plastic all over our back yard that's left to us to clean it up. The carelessness of the crew is a bit mind-blowing, they could have easily came over and asked or just went thru our side gate to go clean up their mess. They are awful as far as I'm concerned! This company will not accept any things they do wrong. I have called repeatedly to try to get warranty work done and no one returns my call. We have leaks and problems with unfinished work but no one calls back. Do not use this company.
Unfortunately I had Premier do my roof and the experience is less than desirable, I was told a certain price in the beginning and if the insurance company didn't approve Premier would absorb the price, well two adjustments later the price nearly tripled and last Monday my insurance company called me as Premier was on the phone trying to get my insurance payout from USAA instead of going thru myself, USAA was calling for my permission which I appreciate but I denied it. They knocked on my door to do a free roof inspection after a hail storm. And of course there was damage, according to them. They called my insurance right away to file a claim. They wanted me to sign a contract that said they would do the roofing job or I pay them 15% of my insurance money. That concerned me and refused to sign. When I go the insurance claim. they were many thousand $$$ above what the insurance would give. They said do not worry because we would bill the insurance for anything over what the claim said.... read more
Yesterday afternoon Premier Roofing Company came to our door and wanted to do a free roof inspection. My husband asked them to come back after 4 as he was trying to sleep after working OT the night before. They never did come back yesterday, but came back today and were VERY AGGRESSIVE. My husband finally said ok to the inspection and they went up on the roof. After about 5 mins they came back down and said we had hail damage (shocking). Took absolutely forever to complete the job. Horrible customer service. Avoid this company at all costs!
This company was a complete nightmare. When the sales person came out initially, he made promises. He said 'I'm excited about this project being that this is an old house. We don't know what we have underneath but we will deal with any problems that come after we open it up and see what we are dealing with'.
