We received five quotes for the project and Premium's was the lowest. We are very pleased with the results. They completely transformed our backyard for a great price. The service was good -- there were some minor things that were not finished on time, but they came back quickly to finish them. The team finished the project in about 10 days and cleaned up their mess. My only complaint is that Premium is not as responsive as I would prefer. I've had Yards R US several times to do tree work for me. Chuck always shows up to give estimates when he says he is going to do so. He has been able to schedule me quickly. The crew has been very neat and left my property as tidy as possible (you expect an indent or two when you are taking down a large tree!). They have taken down a very large tree as well as smaller trees, done large branch removal, and did a fabulous job of trimming the maple in my front yard. They did some things well, but others needed to be re-done. The walkway was good, and we were happy with the work, although some issues did need to be resolved. The landscaping wasn't horrible, but it wasn't the best. The flowers looked great in spring, but quite barren in the winter. One issue that wasn't resolved to our satisfaction was that they the topiaries had spider mites, but the topiaries weren't warrantied. They sprayed twice, but did not replace. Great. They did a site survey when I was at work and then we spoke about that they recommended. They proposed exactly what I was looking for and provided a reasonable quote. Scheduling the service was easy and they completed all of the work in about half a day. I hired Yards Are Us to trim several large trees on my property and do a number of other landscaping activities. They did a great job pruning the trees (one of them is very tall). Went well. They couldn't finish in one day and needed to return two new shrubs for better specimens. Balance of the job done in second visit. Removed one tree and trimmed two others. Ground two stumps. Removed some shrubs and planted new ones. Reshaped beds, added new mulch.

Service and speed were great, especially after dealing with another company that never did finish their job. The one small issue we did have was with the gate. We had requested a specific handle/latch for the gate (one just like the other we had) and it took them a few weeks to come install it after everything else was done. They weren't particularly responsive during this period of time and in the end it was a completely different latch than requested. Premium Lawn and Landscape has mowed my lawn for 9 years. Every year I ask them to mow every two weeks. This summer, being very busy, I didn't notice. When I got the bill in August I called and asked why I was being billed for every week. I was told that I didn't make the request (9 years with them!!!). And when I asked why they were mowing my lawn when it hadn't rained and the grass wasn't growing I was told it was their policy. These guys are fantastic! Chuck responded to my phone message within 4 hours and came out to estimate the job the next day. His estimate was so reasonable and his experience so relevant that I didn't get any further estimates. When the work was done Yards are Us had all three elements in place. 1. A very experienced team. They did a fabulous job! All the trees were very close to the house and they took great care in trimming and removal to make sure no damage was done to the house/property. Their clean up was excellent. The property looked cleaner than before they came. They removed one diseased oak that was near the house and trimmed 11 trees.
