They cleaned up, chipped all the debris, and when it was time to pay, Chuck asked us to write the check for less than the estimate because the job didn't take his crew as long as he had expected. He also gave us the name of a tree to have a look at, but that will wait to a better season. This was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor from start to finish. This was a big undertaking for my family and so I obtained 8 different estimates. Most estimates took several days to come in and lacked sufficient detail. Chuck Ouellette did not show for the initial appointment to provide the estimate, but a few days later gave us a written estimate which was half of what another company quoted. His team showed up on the date scheduled (despite the fact that there was a major storm the night before and they were working long hours on the cleanup.) They had equipment (boom lift with a cherry picker) that allowed them to access the tree in a basket rather having to climb the tree which made them very efficient. The front of our house needed a complete make-over and we are very happy with the work done by Jeff Murphy and the crew at Premium Lawn & Landscape. Jeff was professional and very responsive to our needs and questions. Work was completed in two days--two of the hottest days of the Summer. There was a problem with the new Crape Myrtle installed. Prior to Premium's arrival, the excavator doing the construction at our home had nicely graded the portion of the yard where a pool had been removed. We also needed sod in areas where the excavator's trucks had destroyed the old grass. We had a water problem in the yard as well, with a river running around the house when it rained, getting into the basement and leaving marshy areas around the house. They were excellent. I would highly recommend them. They were timely, the prices were reasonable and they showed up when they said they would to do the work. They were actually early. I found them off of Angie's List. He removed a tree from our backyard.

The job was performed quickly, efficiently and with better results than we expected. The tree now has a completely natural -- almost Christmas tree -- look with no appearance of "butchering" which is all-too-often the result of such work. The crew was thorough, professional and polite. Their clean up left nothing to be desired. We've used Yards Are Us previously and will not hesitate to call upon them in the future.
