I received a mailer in the mail and called in. I had amazing customer service with a gentleman I spoke with. I had some income impacts during the pandemic and needed some help with my credit card and loan debt. He walked me through what I owe, where my credit is at and was able to have a nice discussion about some troubles I was having. Luckily I was able to find a plan that helps me financially and I am so grateful for the help and I have way less stress! I already referred a friend to call to get some help.

I am writing to report an unacceptable and unprofessional experience I had with your representative, ****** during a recent consultation with Priority Plus Financial. Once I declined the option to default on my credit cards, ***** became dismissive and launched into a forceful, one-sided tirade, pressuring me to accept his recommendation. ***** made several inappropriate and misleading remarks, including: * Repeatedly insisting I should default on my credit cards so I could instead use the money for investment properties and... read more

This company uses what should be illegal marketing for their mail to consumers. The mail is disguised to look like official government mail. It is not. This should be illegal and the company should be fined and or dissolved.

Business response:

We respectfully disagree with the characterization presented. Our mailings are promotional in nature and are clearly identified as advertisements, not government correspondence. They do not purport to originate from any federal, state, or local agency, nor are they intended to mislead consumers into believing they are official government communications. All marketing materials are reviewed for compliance with applicable federal and state advertising regulations, including required disclosures and opt-out mechanisms. Priority Plus Financial's response to some of these BBB complaints is a blatant lie. They claim their mailers are 'promotional in nature' and include disclosures, but they omit the most predatory part: the envelope and the document inside are intentionally designed to look exactly like a government-issued relief ********* don't see a 'disclosure' until you've already been baited into opening it. This isn't just 'clever marketing'; its a trap. A person in a hurry or in financial distress could easily be fooled into taking thi... read more

Hurtful, manipulative and predatory marketing strategies. I was sent letters in the mail that were intentionally designed to look like a check for economic relief for New Hampshire families. When I called and asked to be removed, the man hung up on me in mid sentence while I was explaining (briefly) how hurtful the tactics are. Overall disgusting behavior

Business response:

Their sales technique was very misleading. After receiving a mailer that stated I had been pre approved for a consolidation loan, I submitted my information and received a call from ***** ********. While he was polite in all our communications, I later discovered that he was not forthcoming with all the details about the agreement he was offering me. He deliberately understated the negative impact their program would have on my credit score, failed to mention that I was retaining a litigation group to help settle debts, and ... read more

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely regret that our communication did not meet your expectations and that you felt unable to make a fully informed decision at the time of enrollment.Transparency and informed consent are core principles of our process, and we are concerned to hear that certain aspects of the program were not clearly understood from the outset. This includes the potential impact on credit, the role of a litigation group in the debt resolution process, and how communications wou... read more
