Every time I visit a urgent care its because I want to feel better sooner, not because I want a consultation about a sinus infection. Instead of getting antibiotics I get meds to "dry it up" all while im coughing up yellow mucus. I understand the importance of antibiotic resistance but if im just gonna let my body fight it off then there's absolutely no reason to pay to see a Dr, then if I dont feel better come back and pay again in 5 to seven days. Thats absolutely ridiculous. How about we correct it on the first visit and... read more

This was my first virtual meeting! I was feeling awful and very weak. I did not have the strength to leave the house. My meeting was short and to the point, just how I like it. My meeting was very punctual and quick ! Maybe it lasted 5 minutes. Thank you for being prompt and professional, I feel much better now and it’s the next day!

I think a sign or notice needs to be mentioned for anyone who has tested positive for Covid that the NP/physicians at urgent care are not going to prescribe paxlovid. I honestly think it’s a waste having me spend $50 for a NP to tell me to keep taking vitamin C, zinc and DayQuil for my symptoms which I already know. The reason I made an appointment is because I know something else is better out there to help me get over having Covid. I think it’s disappointing and unsatisfactory health care.

The reason I left prisma was because of the fact they want more money. I’ll stick with bon secours.

provider was emotionless and didn’t seem to care as much because it was short and she did not ask me enough questions to prescribe the right medications. Would not be my first choice for virtual visits.

I have had multiple sinus infections before and know they are always bacterial and this has been going on for almost 2 weeks. The provider said they will not prescribe an antibiotic because the risk of causing resistant bacteria. I went to in person doctor at a lexington and as soon as he looked at me he said yeah you need antibiotics. It’s not that she said she would not give me an antibiotic, but when I went to pick up my other meds she actually prescribed azithromycin. So the plan she told me and what she was prescribing ... read more
