Giving one star should not be a option with Progress Residential, I applied for a home April 21st 2021 they took my holding fee and it came out of my account, I was told due to my application being denied I would receive my holding fee back, it is now May 24th and I still have not received it back, I have sent multiple emails to the Customer service email and get a automated no reply email back stating your case has been closed, no explanation no date to when I should receive it back nothing, every time I call I get hung up ... read more

I put in an application for a home that was coming soon. I was unable to see it, but I placed it on hold with the guarantee that I would get my $250 returned to me if I didn't like it once I viewed it. I viewed the home, and it was not something that would fit my family, so I immediately cancelled the application. I requested my refund, and was told that the program for hold fees being refunded was no longer available. 1 Star is giving them too much credit. Absolutely do not rent from Progress Residential! Moving in is a breeze but once you're in, they are very shady, everything is done minimally, including repairs to the home. It is extremely difficult to get a hold of somebody that will actually help you with an issue, and once you do most of the time they try to blame the tenant for it. This rental has been a nightmare since the time of move in. I moved to this property from out of state, upon arrival to the home there were tons of bugs everywhere. We have a small child so we had to stay in a hotel for a few days until they had someone come spray. Mind you it's covid so we didn't have extra money to do that. This is the worse experience I’ve ever had with a rental company. I’ve only rented from 2, even still.. I’m moving out of state, so my moving process began. My wife and I found the perfect home, or so we though! I haven’t even moved in, yet after paying the fees the leasing agent started ignoring my calls and the customer service agent told me I was lying about paying hold fees and hung up on me.. BEWARE : Read reviews and do your own research. Progress residential are scam artists, they will sell your information, lie and steal from you. The homes are in terrible shape. Zero communication, will keep your security deposit. Will mess with your credit. Won't fix anything. You have been warned do your research before even thinking about this company

First off I work with clients on a daily basis in business. When I 1st started renting from this company atleast the 1st 6 months. Not til I notice crazy charges on my water bill. Then instead of them calling me they email back in forth. Never getting to the end or even resolving the issue. Then they charge me for a service request of there properly. This company rented me a house that has termites. I’ve been bit multiple times and I’ve tried everything to get rid of them. We can’t get rid! DO NOT rent from them!
