WORST COMPANY TO RENT FROM!!! This is an complaint in response to the reply on our review of Progress that Rich M. told us to email him. Go figure no response to this either. Rich likes to make people feel the company cares by saying how sorry he is and to please email him. HaHa HaHa The company's Instagram account saw this same message yet not a soul felt the need to reach out to us. HORRIBLE. Had black mold in the house and told me to not pay rent only to evict me during COVID. Horrible company. Doesn’t care about you or the next guy. They’re kicking myself and my 6 year old daughter out because the failed to fix issues within the home. And wouldn’t apply my $5000 move in payment towards the rent owed. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

I applied for a home in March and was denied. It took several phone calls and several emails to find out why I was denied. It has been over 30 days and my $250 holding fee has not been returned! I spoke to an applications employee by the name of Keenan today who was very rude to me. He got severely irritated by answering my questions, and disconnected the call before the problem was resolved. Company reached out to renew our least 3 months before it ended. I replied with the appropriate documents and response and called back our personal agent, Ryan ******several times to move the process forward. My roommate also called them several times. Days, weeks, months went by and we'd periodically send another email or give another call but never any response. Do Not do Business with Progress Residential they will just ghost you once they take your money. Negative Star reviews really need to be a thing for crap businesses like this one. After finding a house that we thought would be a good thing, my girlfriend and I paid to have the house put on hold so we would have first look at the home. Where do I begin. This place is a joke. We have been with no AC or heating. Last month someone finally came out and all he did was take pictures and left. Since then I have not heard from them at all!!! I’ve been trying to reach anyone. Yesterday I finally got a hold of someone and we got disconnected and never called me back. I applied, paid, and was a approved for a house that I was later told was unavailable. It was listed and they took my money for the home. I have emails and text messages stating such. They still will not refund my money. They decided to let the current renters stay longer and too bad for us. They then told me I cancelled the lease. I did not. Not a Renter, but a homeowner living beside one of their rentals. I have had to call and email multiple times to have their fence repaired since it backs up into my own fenced yard. The renters dogs were even able to bite my dog through my chain link fence since their wooden fence was missing a board. This is a worthless company who has no regards for anything (or anybody) but money apparently. I see that MOST people get approved with Progress! We did too...but then we didn't! I am curious if this has happened to anyone else. I first called to ask what credit company they use. The lady said Equifax..this is wrong it is through Experian.. I had asked about an eviction I had on my record from 3 years ago, she said "oh that wont be a problem we look at everything as a whole.
