This company is taking people‘s money and Charlotte North Carolina. I applied for one of their homes and paid $250 holding fee and $100 application fee and then $35 for using my credit card. They denied us and didn’t tell us why. then I saw several houses that I was looking at that had pending applications and then they were back on the market. As a tenant that has stayed in these homes for over a year, I am highly disappointed in their service. Especially now during the holiday season and during the covid pandemic. This is getting out of hand. Let me start by when we moved in. When we moved in the A/C did not work properly, the sink leaked in the kitchen, and the dishwasher was not installed. I have been renting from Progress Residential for almost a year and have had nothing but problems and headaches. There has been a bunch of issues with the home and they are so slow to move and barely want to fix anything. I have had mold for months and they downplay it and there has been so many no shows from their vendors. They were told about me getting sick from it. These people don't care about their properties and will neglect them after the lease is signed. I have lived next door to one of their rental homes for many years and they go months during the summer without doing the yardwork and in Texas, that's not good. No maintenance whatsoever to the outside if the house. Roof full of pine needles. The only sign of attention will come in between tenants when they clean up to attract new renters. I paid Rent Progress $500.00 for an application fee and included in it a$250.00 to hold the house that I was interested in renting in Coral Springs. I submitted the application along with the fees and then once I was approved I submitted all the HOA paperwork along with $850.00 in fees. I thought everything was fine until I went on their website an I saw the exact house that I was renting stating ready to move in. Horrible customer service. Took them over 2 month to get back to me. Fixed a job, I requested and did a shoddy job at that. The service team was rude and super slow. Just don't know how they conduct business in this matter.
I live in a community with Progress Residential homes. I am a long time resident of Forest Pointe Community in Antioch. The two homes that are rented by Progress are not up to the our community standards. Lawns are not mowed regularly, One home has 10 people living in it. Against codes, they leave toys, lawn mower and children unattended. We have called codes on them several times. Homes are not monitored, unpainted deck. It's awful to leave next to this mess.
This property management company has no respect for its tenants. They send outside Vendors to your property for repairs that have no respect for your personal property, your time, and your safety. This property company sends Vendors to your property that are unprepared in terms of Protective Protective Equipment and the necessary clothing to enter your home. Backyard is flooding and they respond by cutting 3-5 inches off the bottom of my fence instead of putting a simple drain in. They also did not tell me when they were coming and I woke up to my dogs freaking out surrounding this worker in my backyard. Flooding still continues and now my dogs can get into the neighbors backyards and they will not fix THEIR mistake. Terrible company and will never be back.
