Progress home is nice, my move in was smooth for the most part. The maintenance crew is subpar. They will mark your service orders as complete, but that's not true. They say they call to come out by text, which is not true. They say they call, but not true. The customer service rep I had today could care less. At one point, she hung up on me rather than putting a Supervisor on the phone about the lies regarding the service order. The maintenance aspect hurts this agency.

This company needs to be put out of business, they refuse to refund peoples security deposits despite having email proof that their company made an error. They lie about charges for utilities and I would love to see someone do an audit on the "pass through" utility charges they bill for. We rented from them for 3 years and the move out experience was a nightmare and still isn't resolved. They admit no damage existed in the home but now are still holding a portion of our deposit claiming it was for rent and not enough notice ... read more

Have been waiting for my window to be fixed a year and a half. They keep sending handymen they get of Craigslist and Angie list for a contractor job. I have been complaining for a year and a half and always some excuse. I have mold in my home and can’t use half the kitchen and our la pantry. We have to wipe the kitchen multiple times a day. When it rains outside so does inside. I also had the house inspected and there is no insulation at all in over 70 percent CJ the house. Due to a quick turnaround requirement on a work relocation, my husband and I ended up having to rent sight unseen, so we looked at property management companies to increase the odds of having a good experience. Scam artists at their best! Need a class action lawsuit for taking advantage of renters! Elected officials should be held accountable for allowing this company to take advantage of renters in their city/state! Tenants are trapped in a problematic home and a deceptive contract (paper trap)! There is definitely a problem w/ product delivery and customer service! BEWARE of these crooks, liars and thieves making a profit from refusing to give refunds! This A+ rating from BBB is a scam! Not a good company yo do business with....

We have suspected mold in the home on two occasions. The first time we called maintenance regarding the situation they had someone come out, claim they did not know what it was and simply cleaned the ceiling. This second time when it returned we were not taking that response for an answer. Progress residential has a third party company come out and confirm that there is an leak in the attic and it was definitely mold in our closet. I applied to rent here in early August. By mid August, we had decided to buy a house rather than rent, so I cancelled my application. I was told by the agent that I would get my holding deposit of $250 back in 3-14 business days. I has now been over 4 weeks and I have STILL not received the deposit back. We really need that money as we are trying to buy a house AND have a baby on the way. I read on here that a lot of people have similar problems and to get them solved they had to post on here. It is now 10/20/2020, and they are claiming that they sent my refund back on 08/13/2020, which I can prove that I never received in my bank through my bank statements. Two months is a ridiculous amount of time. It's also funny how the 4 other times that I have called, no one mentioned that I was supposedly already paid out, and apparently the claim that I filed was reviewed and I was never notified. I am a current tenant of Progress, I have had leaks in the second floor and first floor of this property. I submitted a work order last year and they still javent come out to fix the leaks. I don't know what to do, my lease is up in October and I just recived a letter telling me I had to vacate the property due to non payment of rent. Mind you my rent is due on the second of each month. Can someone guid me as to what I can do?

I agree with everyone in here. Absolutely worst company you could ever imagine dealing with. We have $700 worth of charges on our rent with zero explanation that we’ve been trying to resolve for over three months now and every time we call they open a complaint, nothing is done and they slap us with late fees. Getting anyone to actually communicate with you is impossible. I won’t say nearly impossible because they just don’t and won’t respond. They don’t do repairs and raise rent and raise rent.
