We have lived here for two years. And we truly love it. The office staff has always been kind and friendly. The aprtments are great. I take my own trash out most of the time so I can't really give much information on the trash valet, other than when I have set it out, it was always picked up. The wall are thin, but that has been anywhere I have ever lived, in multifamily housing, be it an apartment or a condo, or a town home. Never had a bad experience here. Property seems to be clean and well maintained. I've heard stories of tenants having issues with the management, but it sounds like the tenants brought it on themselves.

Pros: Pool (Really has a resort feel), Gym (clean. has necessities), Price (usually lowest in area), Location (in the Galleria's backyard), Look (updated, clean) Cons: Unresponsive to complaints (Constant dog barking from apt 1025) Not just every other day. EVERYDAY for hours sometimes, Long repair request turn around (2 weeks for a dish washer inquiry), "Dog Area* (just the extra green space of the complex, not fenced; its a mud pit even when it doesn't rain, don't use it). I have lived here for a few months now and I can say that I am very satisfied. I think the complex is pretty, updated, and I love my particular floor plan. The location is amazing. I am located blocks from the galleria and everything else surrounding the Uptown/Galleria area. Best part of Houston in my opinion. I have read other reviews and I see where they are coming from. Great place to live, a little pricey but you get what you pay for in the area. Also the walls are quite thin, FYI.

Hurray for the City of Houston for your kind help. Great News for one and all! Apparently, the street issue, has providentially been addressed at Providence Apartments. (I'm taking managements word on it, and doing the happy dance).

I have lived here for over 2 years and I love the staff in the office, especially Raven. The apt is nice and spacious and maintenance that needs to be done is handled well and in a timely fashion. The only complaint I have is the parking garage is tight to get in and out of. But other then that, great location and great staff!

I've only lived here for two months but after moving around several times I know pretty quickly what is good and bad in an apartment. The bad things are really small in comparison to price, location, and amenities. Most patios overlook a garden-type area but there are a few right on the highway. You can only view their two models so you won't be able to see your exact unit if you aren't getting either of those plans. Overall I would recommend this place! We've lived here for a few months and like it a lot! Moving from Boston means we moved from freezing cold temperatures and colonial houses to an apartment in downtown Houston. They have a very steep pet fee ($500 NON-REFUNDABLE) plus $15 a month in pet rent, so unless your pet is seriously a beloved member of your family, maybe think about not bringing them. We have valet trash M-Th at 8 p.m. (which means we put our trashcan outside our front door and they take it for us.) We're charged $15 a month for that. The staff is ... read more
