Started RANDOMLY charging all residents a "Renters Legal Liability fee" when I'm sure most residents have their own Renters insurance???!?! I did not agree or sign for this, they just started charging it along with rent and WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND EVEN IF TOU HAVE YOUR OWN RENTERS INSURANCE!! Do NOT sign a lease here! You will be stuck with broken appliances, random charges, new management every few months who never answer the phone. It takes weeks sometimes months (and a lot of begging) to complete maintenance requests.
this place used to be great - but now we have black mold for the second time. i know they painted over it the first time and now it's so much more obvious. New management hasn't responded to any of our complaints and it has been over a month since our initial report. This place is unsafe to live in. DO NOT MOVE IN.
If I could, I would put minus five stars. This place is disaster!!! I live here more than five years, and probably the last, the new management literally doesn't care about this place, its all about making the money and that's all, how we live, doesn't mater to them at all. The manage to paint the outside so they can attract new clientele, so they can make those dollars, but on the inside is worst than ever, dirty hallways, constant tires robberies, dirt, and garbage everywhere, smells like pot. terrible management! i remove my last review bc i thought the management care more about the residents and have nice staff! but after i received today's email from them! no way! even after two times charging me because of the insurance which i had before ! i did not put bad review for them! Please save your money don't come here , I can't wait till my lease is up next month and run away. Trash is everywhere , bugs everywhere in the building , somebody tried to break in my apartment I was scared to death , and other ppl got their tier taken off all 4 tier , the gate is always broken , anybody come in and out , at the roof top parking on the weekend ppl go there to drink smoke and have sex leaving used condoms on the ground , they pee in the parking lot and stairs and it smells terrible and attracts all the bugs ... read more
def don't recommend this place. tbh I feel like there is just garbage everywhere. On every. SINGLE. FLOOR. When I go to throw out the trash I have no idea where to put it, as the chute is always clogged. Providence Uptown needs to talk to their residents about this mess, and get it fixed ASAP.
ok we live here but we just canceled, the floor in the corridors is the main thing, they changed from cement to a false floor that rises easily in the rain or humid weather (it's in texas houston the weather is always humid) my 2 year old son walking normally to our apt he stumbled upon a floor raised by humidity and it fractured and in fact I am not the first to have someone slip in these corridors that are the worst, what else is there always pee and dog waste, dirty, They steal your tires and crash your cars, they take ti... read more
So I initially had a 5 star review because they offered us a bonus to review. I haven't lived here in 3 years, but just noticed on my yelp I had a five star review and laughed to myself and remembered I never updated it after I moved out - just wanted the incentive when I did live there for a 5 star review. The management was terrible. It's just a nicer complex for the area at a mediocre price. Car theft is a normal thing here and property man had not done anything to stop it. In the past month there has been about 10 cars with all 4 tires stolen. The most recent car theft was Friday May 5, 2023. Four cars got all four tires stolen and the property manager sent an email acknowledging the fact and saying they're going to get a security guard, but last month the same thing was said and nothing was done.
