Every weekend trash constantly piles up all over the property and no one ever bothers to clean the hallways. The trash service that we pay for needs to be 7 days a week and management needs to hire some additional cleaning personnel to take care of the hallways and clean up all the trash scattered throughout the property. Simply sending a weekly email reminding residents that there will be no trash pick up on Friday and Saturday is completely useless! Wake up providence management and smell the trash!

Don't get me wrong we just moved in about a month back and we just love our house. Now what I hate about this place is that it's been a month and not once have I seen the main garbage place cleaned. Pictures speak for themselves. Management could comment and say you could have raised your concerns but this is something we should not complain about management must do their job and keep this place clean.

I recommend this apartment place if: 1) you enjoy your water being turned off CONSISTENTLY for long periods of time. Even days 2) you enjoy maintenance entering your apartment without notice 3) you enjoy not being able to find a decent parking spot without paying for one 4) dog poop not being picked up so be prepared to step in it 5) gate breaking and not being able to exit so be expected to be late for work 6) loud music from neighbors and management doing absolutely nothing about it 7) overflowing trash chutes 8) front of... read more

Don't live here unless you like to pay full rent while 1) risking your life or 2) living without power and water. I have lived in a bunch of apartment complexes in different cities/states, and this one seems to consistently have issues. 1. Our water heater caught on fire, and the smoke detectors did not go off. 2. We were consistently losing power for close to 3 weeks before it was resolved. 3. We constantly have days where we don't have water, including right now.

We used to live at Providence Uptown for many... many years. My husband moved in there back in 2003 and he has seen 3-4 management turn over. At first we were in 4th floor when we got marriee back in 2009. So there was no one above us... when we moved to 2nd floor in 2012... we thought we moved under the Houston Zoo! Literally... I would go to management and complain... I ended up telling them: "I am pretty sure they have a zoo upstairs... maybe elephants.. maybe giraffe... please do something about it"... Don't let the location fool you, look somewhere else. Expect problems with maintenance, the office staff, and inconsiderate residents to name and few, and expect to handle all these problems by yourself. I've lived here since July and I'm counting the days till my lease is up.
Biggest mistake you could ever make is signing a lease here. Been here 6 months and have been dealing with stomping from upstairs neighbors without the office dealing with anything, dog shit everywhere that's never cleaned up, lack of notification about shit going wrong, slow responses, incompetent contractors causing more issue putting hundreds of people without amenities and water for multiple days.

The apartment complex really needs to look into having a generic code for the gate entrance.. would make perfect sense, but they would lose out on money from the clickers. Instead they give you a one that always falls of its attachment, and when you finally lose it (which you will at some point) it's $50 for a new one. The only other option that they have is to set your phone number up for the gate, but sorry if you have a roommate because they can only do one phone number! Very dangerous and not safe for families. Directly across from a strip club. Sketchy people at all hours of the night. At one point there was a brutal domestic assault in a common area of the apartment and there was ZERO security guard response. The woman was screaming for her life and ended up being taken to the hospital for head trauma. That was the last straw for our family and we moved out immediately.
