Had an Auto Draft Issued to purchase my new car from PSECU. Auto Draft was not accepted by PSECU according to dealership. PSECU claimed it was voided by the dealership. Regardless of fault, in order to get the replacement check, I had to file a bunch of paperwork by fax or snailmail only. (Odd for a financial institution with no branch locations) Then PSECU issued the replacement check for the wrong amount based on rep misinformation during one of my many calls to try and secure the check. I have been with PSECU for many years now. I'm 100% responsible with my checking and saving accounts. I contacted them through a secure email to inquire about consilidating credit card debt, to build my credit score. I make all payments on time 100% of the time. The representative that responded to my email basically said, just apply and see what happens, even though I expressed concern that inquiries can lower my score even more. I have been a loyal customer with this credit union for over 30 years. Of recent, I have seen a decline in their customer service. Of course, their only office is in Harrisburg which is quite a ways away from where I live in Sharon. I went to purchase an investment property. I was told by the company that I needed to wire transfer the money to make the purchase. Called the credit union to schedule this. I agree, the run around does happen. I was injured with a work related injury, had a oral agreement over the phone with a PSECU collections rep to go with a larger medical settlement. The SOB'S did a change up through a different collections rep,she did a foreclosure outside the parameters of the law. I was months away from a larger medical settlement. I reported it to the proper government agency but that is another disappointment. Now I face the court system and I do not have a positive opinion about the court system. AID ... read more

Psecu customer service is consistently terrible! They are very rude, they over talk you. They don't listen to what your issue which leaves room for error. Their lack of knowledge on their own products just blows me away, you'll never get the same answer for the same question. PSECU needs to get it together they are working with people's finances. After 8 years I'm done.

Poor business ethics and customer service! They have gave us the run around about when our bills were paid and which months. Never notified us of actions taken against us. Never sent us anything. Customer service hung up on us when we tried to get help never offered us a loan modification when we were on hard times. They have extremely poor ethics and business actions.

I initially had no problem with PSECU. That was until I found out SEVEN MONTHS (7!!!) after the fact that after a check was mobile deposited into my account, it was also physically deposited somewhere else. All PSECU could tell me was that it was my boyfriend's check and it was put into a Bank of America account. Neither of us have a Bank of America account. Terrible customer service, all they tell you is what they can't do for you! They left out important information when applying for the vehicle, and then screwed us over and would not fix it. Save yourself and choose another bank!
