One Super Label Maker! Works like a dream, it's everything anyone would need as far as a label maker goes. Easy to use, just put the tape cartridge in and your good to go. Prints very neat and clean.

) It would be nice to see a step by step procedure of a ... Although the product appears to do what it is designed to do, the user guide has much to be desired. It seems randomly organized and very confusing. I can see that I will probably be wasting a lot of label material before I understand the whole process. (Is this by design?) It would be nice to see a step by step procedure of a basic label as part of the instructions.

Great organizational tool! This was a gift for my 13 year old grandson. Loves it! The labels are large and there are icons that can be used as well. He has gone crazy labeling everything in their home! Since he has some difficulty with organization, this has helped him to become more organized, too. The labels can be made vertically or horizontally , so they can be creative to some degree.
Good lable maker, but no AC adapter Good label maker, but I thought it came with a AC adapter but it didn't. Still works good with a nice range of fonts.
2 steps forward, one step back - compact, fast, multi-line with formatting and memory, but hard-to-read display This is my third Brother Label Maker and in general I much prefer the Brother models to competing brands (eg. Epson). Brother's tapes are much easier to find and less expensive (often discounted). Even with the extra waste at the edges, the Brother ultimately costs less than the Epson. It's well thought-out and easy to use I have no complaints about the Brother PTD400AD. It's well thought-out and easy to use, and the label cartridges are, in my opinion, fairly priced. And there are a lot of different labels to choose from. It uses the TZ tape that is available in different widths and colors as well as for specialty uses like Iron-on fabric labels (which are great for kid's clothes by the way).
