My husband has been wanting one of these for years ... My husband has been wanting one of these for years and we finally got this one from Amazon. It is exactly as described and shipped very quickly. The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is that it was a little hard to figure out how to use it with the instructions. Would still purchase the same product again, though.
Get organized; this labeler makes it pretty when you do with endless cool fonts, borders, and more This one does it all and does it simply. And easily. A good label maker, but expensive. I'd wait for it to be on sale. I have had a number of label makers over the years and it seems like each time I get one it's on sale. The last label maker I used was a battery powered one by Brother that I bought on sale from staples for $24.99 at the time, the normal price was like $50 or $60 so that was a good deal. Great Label Maker! This is an excellent label maker! Setup was easy. You simply open the top, drop in the tape cartridge, plug in the power adapter (or insert six AA batteries), and turn the unit on. There is a bit of a learning curve if you've never used this type of label maker before. For many of the functions in the user's guide, a graphic of the steps you need to follow is presented, instead of words. The pictures are tiny and you really have to pay attention. I love the keyboard! My kids say I am a label freak. I have several label makers from the hand held to the computer generated ones. If there were an Olympics for label makers, the PRD400AD would have a solid chance for the Gold Okay, maybe I’m weird, but I’ve always found label makers invaluable. I have lots of stuff and I get lots more stuff form clients that I have to keep track of. Labels, labels and more labels – and I’m old enough to remember the days of trying to do labels with typewriters. 1.0 out of 5 stars Constantly Jams Do not buy this unit. It is not the Brother quality from earlier days. It wasted several tapes in me as it would consistently jam. Screen is dim and hard to see. Yes, there are some nice features, but it is a piece of junk. Buy a better model. I am returning this one for a D610BT. Yes, it is a few more $ but it will easily pay for itself without the constant jamming of tapes.

My wifi and laptop would not recognize the printer. I had to find a workaround via the control panel to get them to pair. Then I installed the software but the link to the download failed and worked around that. Finally got the software installed and tried a test print via bluetooth but it would not print.
