Seems to drain batteries I put a pack of brand new batteries in this, did not use them for anything else, did not take them out. After printing 3 maybe 4 labels it told me low battery. For new batteries....

Will not take a cord I ordered this to replace my older outdated brother brand label maker but HUGE weakness with this model is that it does not take a cord. These devices are notorious to consume batteries far in excess of what you paid for the actual label maker itself. The other model on here, same price, has the ability to use a cord so I’ll be swapping for that one. The batteries tend to last longer if you remove them completely from the labeler after each use but that is honestly too much work and not convenient which ... read more

Worst label maker I ever bought.. Bought the same one in Staples and I had the same battery issue ended up throwing it out what a big waste of money I will never buy a Brother label maker again..

Rarely prints This device allows me to type and create the label, but it will rarely print. I get a "low battery" message (unrelated to whether it decides to print), and have changed the batteries numerous times. In one word: NONRESPONSIVE

Do Not Buy! Battery Hog! Battery hog. Don’t waste your money on this! Takes 4 AAA batteries and constantly displays Low Battery. Total junk! Another addition to the USA trash heap!

Not very good We received this item and immediately returned it. We tried several brand new, brand name batteries and after one label it read “ low battery”. Piece of junk in my opinion.

Not for large hands. Very awkward to use if you have big fingers/hands. Number control makes it difficult also. I didn't think the buttons would be so small. Makes label creation pretty slow.

Battery issue, be cautious This label maker worked great, but only before it's out of battery. It drains the battery very fast. Then when I put new batteries, within a few days, it showed low battery again. I didn't even turn it on during these days!
