How do you separate the label from the backing?! I have an old Brother label marker that I love. I wanted to buy a second one to have one at home AND one at the office, but they no longer manufacture the older one. I bought this one and find it WAY more difficult to use. And I still can't figure out how to separate the label from the backing. Why did they "improve" this product -- they didn't.
Battery killer! Even when not in use it some how devours batteries. As already said here many times, this unit EATS batteries for breakfast. First one did, got another(Work expense) and second is identical. We had bought a few of these and all have the same issue. Even unused, the batteries die fast. Do not purchase. Waste of money.
Battery issue Bought it for about a year. Only printed 3 labels but change battery twice. It’s totally waste of money. Just saw other users had the same issue. Too badly,it’s exceeded the return date.
Cheap Cheap
Battery only lasts for 2 labels This is the worst label maker I could imagine. I printed 2 labels and the batteries died. I replaced them with fresh batteries and printed 1 label and the batteries died. I cannot imagine why they are still selling these. I bought it last year and didn't use it right away and when I found out it was a bad design, it was too late to return it. I would recommend no one buy this model.
What a useful tool When the brother first came out I bought one for my office in headquarters. It was borrowed every time I wasn’t using it. We labelled everything. It lasted for years. Its a wonder we didn’t wear it out. Even with almost daily use, its lasted about 12 years. I finally donated it to my office and bought this one for my exclusive use.
Junk! Just changed batteries and it says low battery! I'm done with this machine I'm buying one that has adapter! If you're ok with a battery junkie buy this kind. Otherwise shop around!
Battery killer and shuts off The printing worked pretty well until the batteries were killed. I started with brand new batteries and they couldnt get one print out. I put new better quality batteries in and that got me about 10 print outs. Then those batteries died so I replaced them with brand new ones and I again couldnt get one full print out. Itll turn on and as soon as you hit print it dies. Its a useless product since it wont stay on to print.
Defective With brand new batteries installed it wouldn't print a 5 letter word due to "low battery" message.
