Eats batteries and no mains option. I bought this one as the one I had earlier had given up, I did get a lot of use out of it. I bought this as was told it replaced the one I already had. But when I get it I find out unlike the previous model this works only on batteries and the mains adaptor is now useless. These machines 'eat' batteries and now am constantly buying batteries, so eventually it will cost much more than your rivals who have mains capability.
Battery eater Battery dies after using just a couple times
I have the product since April. Turned it on ... I have the product since April. Turned it on no more than 7 times for just a few labels and have had to replace the batteries 2 times already. Machine has not been on more than 10 mins total.
Absolutely the worst label maker I've ever owned. Kept getting the low battery warning, even when fresh batteries were placed in the device. DO NOT BUY!
Two Stars hard to use
One Star Easy to use and reliable. Labels are easy to read, don't smudge, and adhere well,
I also don't like the method used to separate the paper from the ... The label maker constantly tells me I have "Low Battery", even though I've changed batteries numerous times. My concern is that it is actually using up the batteries very quickly. I also don't like the method used to separate the paper from the label.
Tired of Seeing "Low Battery!" Based on other reviews, and my own experience, there is clearly something wrong with this product. I install brand new batteries and I still receive the Low Battery! warning after every label I print. What's worse is it will stop printing mid-label, which wastes labels. I can then print a second time and it will print fine. As soon as I get a replacement, mine's going in the trash. When it works, it works fine. The labels are difficult to separate from the backing. Machine Turns Off When Printing Even with Fresh Batteries Received this item, opened the package, inserted the print tape cassette and fresh batteries and printed 3 labels. On label #4, when I clicked 'Print' the machine turned off. Consulted the Troubleshooting Section of the instruction manual and this exact problem is listed, along with the recommendations to replace with fresh batteries and re-seat the printing cassette.
