Very nice printer, aggravating set-up It took me three days to set this up, working about an hour each day. It was frustrating, because I knew that the printer would be excellent for printing labels using wifi. I think I could have programmed a Houston Space Center rocket faster. The instructions are ridiculous and whoever wrote them should have to suffer somehow. Once I found out that I couldn't use batteries with wifi (you gotta use the AC adapter or an optional lithium battery pack) I was on my way to use this nifty gadge... read more

Nice Unit - But Difficult Set-Up This is a compact, good looking label maker - and I had high hopes to upgrade my label making abilities from my old-school hand operated unit. It works well, but as others have noted the set-up was needlessly complex due to the poorly written directions. It is a neat device, but I'm not sure it was worth the upgrade.

Works great with the USB cable, but haven't solved the WiFi problem yet. I like the Brother label printers. I have a P-Touch that I use at home and we have one at work. I thought this unit would be useful for printing custom labels from my computer and for printing from our iPad and from our Android phones. It would be great to be able to print labels from our different devices. The printer was easy to set up with the USB cable and I was printing a label in minutes from my Mac. The letters were clear and I even added a graph... read more

Easy wireless setup, cranky Mac software, perfect iPhone app I've been a fan - ok, total addict - of the Brother P-Touch labeler since it came to the home market. Some of the labelers are easier to use than others, but I've had a trusty labeler and tapes in my desk for years. I thought it would be great to try out a wireless labeler. Other reviewers mentioned the difficulty in setting up the wireless connection, so I went directly to Brother for the latest Mac OS X 10.10.x drivers and held my breath; the installation, with t... read more

Well built and high quality printing huge selection of cartridge types. I am giving this device 5 stars on its printing quality and the huge selection of print cartridges. It will print in high resolution when attached to your computer.Brother makes products that are not fancy on the outside but very well built and are incredibly reliable. The wireless setup was way too confusing for my iphone install. I think the NPC for android looked a lot easier. It is mentioned in fine print that for wifi printing one needs to use the a... read more

Setup and directions need overhaul, software is buggy UPDATE 4/20/15 This is the third Brother label maker I've owned, and it's certainly the most technically advanced model, but not the easiest to setup and use. Despite this challenge, the output of the device via both a wired and wireless connection was good. I connected the PTP750W to my Mac Mini, Windows 8 and Windows 7 PCs via the enclosed cable. It made for a solid, responsive connection on all but the Mac, which required a restart of the device before it would 'play n... read more

Works great if you get it all installed... This printer works great once installed. Installation on a computer is horrible. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. But once you get it installed to your liking it does work very well. I'm still giving it 4/5 stars overall, but I know that many people will never get past the install. You can still us wifi direct from a phone and P-lite software on a computer with a usb cable even if you don't go through the horrible software. I know this is a book and a half, but this is not only a review but als... read more

Great idea, but terrible documentation, poor user interface, numerous drivers/programs have to be installed on PC, slow WiFi It took several hours to figure out how to print wirelessly using a PC and the P-Touch Editor program. I had to download multiple software packages online from Brother. Basically, the Printer Driver isn't a driver in the sense that Windows installs a driver for the P-Touch. This is the initial setup for your P-Touch to determine whether it uses USB or WiFi for connectivity. The Printer Setup Tool isn't... read more
