The very worst software installation I have ever experienced! . Brother is good, well-engineered printer. Too bad they didn't spend some money to improve the software. Installation was a difficult experience. I gave serious consideration to returning this printer.
The machine is a used one. A lot of scrathces on the machine. It is seems a heavily used one, not a new one.
Looks used to me Just recieved and haven't used yet. Just opened the box, no damage to box or packaging but looks like it's been used.
Do not buy Printer wasn’t easy to hookup, wasn’t easy to use. Constant connection issues. The NFC never worked.
Doesn't connect well to MacBook I have had this for a year now and dread using it. The wifi connection always takes at least 20 minutes to get it to connect right. It is such a pain to use. Don't waste your money on this device.
Garbage - used a few times and died The printer was adequate when it worked, although the editor that comes with it is a joke. The UI feels like it was transported out of 1998 from a bad Java applet. The worst thing though is that I used this a few times, put it away for six months (storing it safely in my desk drawer) and when I brought it out again it had completely died. It won't turn on at all. Total waste of money.
Keeping this device but it needs major work Pro tip for anyone not able to use the wifi. (With the device off) I find I have to press and hold the power button and wifi button to get Wifi to activate. Even though I have enabled auto on for the wifi via the printer config tool. Wifi does not auto activate unless I follow the above process. It takes a good 15-30 seconds to fully connect. Lots of bells and whistles that hardly work This label printer is supposed to be top of the line. It has all the fun extras you’d want in a printer. However, the software use to run it is lack luster at best. It’s highly unreliable and totally unacceptable for this price point. I bought this because I wanted the best but sent it back because it failed to deliver on most of its advertised features. Do better.
Solid pass on this one Can't connect with the phone out of the box. If I had to use a pc, I would've just bought a unit with a display/keyboard. What's the point in this future tech if this printer was created by an engineer from 1995.
