WiFi connectivity makes this a total winner. Over the years, I’ve acquired a number of Brother label printers along with a few from other makers. Only Brother has stood the test of time. They make reasonably priced products that last longer than you would expect. Of course ,some consider the label stock to be expensive. Remember the old saw about the man who has to ask the price of a yacht? It means you can’t afford one. The same principle applies here: if you are unwilling to pay the price Brother asks for its label tape, t... read more
Easy Peasy to Use, Expensive Labels (like most label makers) I haven't used a dedicated label maker in 20+ years, so I'm way behind the curve. Now, I'm wondering why not?? This worked great with my MacBook Pro. We recently moved, and this was great in trying to organize the pantry, office, and my kids rooms. If I hadn't had it, I probably would have either not labeled stuff or gone for the sticky note option. Things look much better. Too hard to organize labels on the Avery sheets, when every one will be different. Brother s... read more
iPhone & Brother = Amazing! This is my second Brother label printer. My first one is a very small battery operated unit I leave out at the hangar to label everything. This printer prints labels twice as large. I love that it connects to my iPhone via WiFi and look forward to the new iPhone 6 that will connect to this via NFC. That will be a real bonus. If you're using it in a garage or a craft room having the ability to use the iPhone is just amazing. As all the Brother label makers do, this prints perfectly and very large i... read more
1.0 out of 5 stars Jams frequently This is the second one of these printers I have received and both jam all the time. Each time it jams I have to open it and remove the printer tape. This process causes the printer tape to get messed up, thus costing me money in wasted printer tape. I don’t recommend this printer to anyone, unless you find joy in using poorly designed label makers.
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't get this printer if you have a Mac. Doesn't connect with the newest Sonoma OS, support sends you to the FAQ's which are out of date. Super frustrating if you have a Mac. May be better with a PC, dunno.
1.0 out of 5 stars WORST SOFTWARE FOR MAC EVER! This is the worst Brother product I've ever purchased. Software support for MAC non existent. Will never purchase connected label printer again!
1.0 out of 5 stars skip this printer Too many things to download, not a great user experience. A pain to use with mobile.
driver unavailable It seems like every time I try to use this printer there is something that needs to be fixed first. I just tried to use it again and I got the following error: driver unavailable.
Worst label printer ever I have a handheld pth300 label maker for a few years and I am quite happy. Let’s give a try to a PC controlled one so I can save labels in templates… for the 750w. Big mistake. 1) tape gets stuck continuously 2) tape does not exit but go inside the printer and you need to open the top compartment to take your labels out 3) knife gets also stuck 4) eats battery as crazy 5) I would give negative stars if I could 6) printer 650w is now on my trash can and I’m waiting for a cube pro. It is 100$ so if bro... read more
