Worst printing device ever! This is the most difficult printer installation that I have ever encountered. If you have a requirement for this to be network connected do no purchase this device. While I have installed a large number of brother devices over the last 15 years, this one is horrible. It required special software to make it attach to my wireless network. BTW, I have the brother wireless paper label printer running just fine), so I am not a newbie at this. Here are the software issues I found. 1) If you let it be th... read more

Just Not Worth It Like everyone else says, it is really clunky to configure and use. It also wastes tons of tape. The software doesn't let you print to the edge well. NFC doesn't really work the way anyone would expect. All and all just not worth it. It is now just being used as a USB label maker, no wifi, no NFC. Wouldn't recommend or buy again. It does however print labels so I didn't give it one star.

Good but wireless is a puzzle Read other reviews (not just Amazon) about issues with setup of this item and trying to locate usable user instructions. I ended up having to hardwire this to my desktop with the USB cable because wireless setup never worked. Doesn't seem to be any way to set it to print closer to the front end of the tape to avoid wasting an inch or so on every item.

Disappointing (Update - Happier) Piece of junk, but whatchagonnado? After six hours screwing with this thing I'm able to get my iPhone 5S (along with the Brothers app) to connect and print labels wirelessly, but the Windows system (a network that otherwise works flawlessly) won't print, no matter if I connect through wifi, or USB. The computer sees it, the software's all installed, everything looks jake, but when I hit "print" nothing happens except an error. When will I learn? The IT industry is filled with charlatans and l... read more

Lousy instructions, but great little label-maker, once you figure it out This is a handsome little machine, measuring only 3 x 6 inches, standing 5.5 inches tall. Therefore, it takes very little space on your desk or storage cabinet. It is lightweight with simple picture buttons for power, cutting, etc., on the top. The power cord is long enough you can store it close to your computer power strip or somewhere out-of-the-way on your desk or workspace. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of instructions that came with thi... read more

Good label maker,,,,,,as label makers go I find this to be much easier to use than the other "manual" label makers by Brother. This is much easier to access and change font sizes, symbols, etc. As with all Brother label makers though, the tape is expensive and they build it into the operation of the label makers so they waste tape at the beginning and end of the text so in a given length of tape, there is usually going to be about a 20% waste factor......great for the tape business! I guess they figure they will only sell yo... read more

A rock solid label maker, weakened by stupid design flaws So, as a label maker, the PTP750W is a solid performer - battery (optional) power, Optional Li-Ion battery, USB, Wi-Fi and even NFC. But at the same time - as a LABEL MAKER, it performs exactly like the much cheaper (at $40) PT-P700 (http://www.amazon.com/Brother-PT-P700-Connectable-Label-Maker/dp/B00DSYEB28/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1403747018&sr=8-2&keywords=brother+label+maker+usb). The unique selling point of this printer is its Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. At least, ... read more
