Neither Wireless or Easy to Set-Up As an engineer, I have designed and set up a multitude of systems and solutions. The Brother system is absolutely the worst I have seen. It starts with the "set-up" guides; which are poorly written, and extends through the "next-to-worthless" website. The other older Brother systems were so easy- this one was not. Also, it is not truly wireless. You need to connect the power chord to use it.
Same Crappy Brother P Touch Quality, Higher Price Tag I thought I was doing myself a favour by pitching my Dymo Labelwriters and going back to Brother P Touch - especially when I saw that this one doesn't require batteries, is a stand-alone, connect-to-your-computer label printer, had a bunch of features that I more than likely would never use (such as the NFC and/or wireless features), etc. Plus, this one has the added ability to add barcodes and images to labels. Print quality not so good I'm comparing this model with previous TZ printers but the print quality on this unit is really poor. Labels I have printed for years now on the old printer are not even readable when printed on this one. I chose to return it and just keep using what I had.
Piece of junk This thing is awful after printing less than 100 labels it jammed terribly and I can get the paper from behind the roller. Basically this thing is now useless.
It's hard to use while carrying outsider (with smart phone) There are scratches on the surface, the manual says nothing about Windows 10 After receiving the printer, opening the box, and taking it out, there are marks similar to scratches as shown in the photo. After turning on the battery and connecting with a smartphone, a message indicating that the connection has been established appears, but an error message stating that it cannot be sent to the printer appears when a print command is issued.
Driver problems, connectivity problems--6 hours in, the P750W has defeated me. I purchased this P750W label printer months ago but only recently had time to install it--or, should I say, try to install it. It worked for one day. Then I changed my network and of course needed to update the settings. PTouch doesn't provide any way to do that except through a cable (which it doesn't provide) or the "press the button on the router to connect," which I tried for several hours over a period of days with no luck. BUGGY AND NOT EASY TO USE I don't recommend this for anyone looking for a simple labeler. It's got all kinds of bells and whistles that may be useful for some folks willing to put in the time to learn it, but I'm throwing mine away. I just wanted to print out simple labels for my files and cables, and it's been a constant struggle. If you open up the regular software package, you have a million options and it's not intuitive what to do. Borke shortly after warranty expired & no support anymore Brother customers support has come down far and let us rethink our vendors with which we will continue to go for next office equipment.
