Read this! I was accepted, despite asking them and confirming the process of making the payment…1 1/2 year later 90% of my monthly payments have gone towards the interest! They want to collect their interest first making you stuck paying the principal for a LONG TIME. Do not get this loan, unless you want to pay all interest.
Beware!!! My experience was horrific with One Main. It took 2 weeks for this so called easy online process to be completed and that was only after I continually called them to get things moving along. I called their local office and that was a joke. I spoke to their central office and that was just as bad. I started a new job in Feb 2022. Provided them with paystubs and bank statements proving my direct deposits and they still could calculate my income correctly. Poor experience! My experience was not a good one and if it didn’t create a ding on my credit score, then I would’ve went elsewhere.. I filled out my information and was pre-approved, and then I was told that I wasn’t after it was a hit on my credit score. I left multiple messages and the woman that was assisting me wouldn’t return my calls. Once I got a co-signer I was then approved. Bad experience!! I don't appreciate being put through a disadvantage of being told that I had a certain amount approved for and when I went to close the loan it wasn't true!!! Very upset about this experience!!!
They Ghost you They told me I was approved, and after giving them my documents, they never called me back. You’d think the least they would do is tell me that I’m not qualified for the loan, instead of not calling.
Easy peasy They were very easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family!
Not satisfied The rate that was given to me on the site is a dam lie the rate is higher when it comes down to doing the loan but my son needs a car ASAP so I did a personal loan I ended up getting 18percent instead of the 13 percent I was seeing on the site
Frustrating I recently moved and needed some cash to cover my moving expenses. I had previously gotten a loan from them when I lived in Michigan and the people in the Wayne office were great. I can't say the same for the people in the office in Catonsville, MD. They needed proof of my social security number. My SS card was lost decades ago and I haven't needed it since.
