Works great after a very frustrating setup process Be warned: depending on how you plan to connect to this printer (wi-fi, wi-fi direct, USB, wired LAN, or Bluetooth), the setup process may be cumbersome and frustrating. I spent nearly an hour trudging my way through first setting up the printer using a USB cable, and then trying to switch to a using a wi-fi connection instead. Excellent Printer Marred by Poor Labeling Software 4-Star Printer -- 2-Star Software. Excellent printer let down by difficult to use and buggy P-Touch Software. Printer installation was simple following the clear instructions provided. I connected the printer wirelessly and via USB cable. During installation you must go to Brother's website and download the drivers and printer installation software. This requires registering the printer. Still Needs Work I like the label size and connectivity on most issues but this well thought out concept has much more room to go in terms of improvement. It doesn’t always connect to USPS or UPS which is what I use it for. That being the case I might as well just use standard paper and glue the label on myself. Randomly jams, cover pops loose I've used this printer for 2 years and have been very happy with it. Recently the cover randomly pops loose. I called tech support and was told it couldn't be repaired. I was asked by the agent multiple times if I had dropped it. The agent put me on hold and then the call disconnected... I'm not expecting brother to fix it for free, I'd pay to have it serviced. Really disappointed
Crap product Product came in a trashed box. Was listed as new and looked used. Would not power on
Don't buy it. I got this printer in the spring, it is now fall and it has become impossible to use. It was never dropped or harmed in any way. In all these months I was able to wirelessly print only once. Some days it would work with the usb connection. Now it doesn't work at all. Get something else.
Terrible printer Awful
Printer won't stay connected on wireless network always has to be reset Expected that the printer would be a small business product designed for a commerical office/warehouse. I'm sure it can print, it just doesn't on a wireless netwokr. If your entire office is wired and all computers are wired in then go for it, otherwise look elsewhere.
