Getting this printer to print is a multi hour adventure This is DEFINITELY not a 4.5 star printer. - It's a pain to install the drivers, which are not able to self install on modern OS's - The connection to the WiFi is very finicky had to try it multiple times - If you get send something to the printer when it has 4" paper but you select the 4.01" it gets so locked up I need to reboot both the PC and the printer to get it to work again at all - Sometimes it will just blink red forever, wont do anything. Printer jamming left corner every 2-4 labels bought this printer 1.5 years ago but don't use is THAT often. it is not regularly jamming every 2-4 times I use it. Always the same. Left corner. Worked fine for approx 13 months but getting worse now. Finally called brother. I have been on hold for 58 MINUTES!!!!
Misleading Description of Abilities I was looking forward to ditching laser or inkjet printers (and ink / toner costs) for shipping eBay & Amazon orders with a faster, smaller device. Even though this was about $100 more than similar devices, it had wireless connectivity so I planned to use it with my iPad. It wouldn't work. Dirty with missing part This product arrived in a OPEN, DIRTY, DENTED box. The rolls of labels are missing and the cord were unwrapped and thrown in the bottom of the box. Now the products cost more than it did when I bought it! What a mess. Thanks Brother!
Good luck! This product didn't work after 12 hrs. I'm very tech savvy and truthfully it was a nightmare to set up. After the setup the machine printed fine and the following day the machine went offline and stopped working. After making an appointment to speak with with customer service and trouble shoot the unit the agent determined the machine didn't work and there were none in stock so I got a refund.
Broken Parts Not enough support from the seller on How to exchange/refund on broken parts. kept denying, no reply what so ever.
I will never go back to zebra Thank goodness somebody made an alternative to Zebras overpriced and overcomplicated printers
Piece of cr*p EDIT: quite expensive, connectivity lacks, demands brand labels (can be tricked though). Would not buy again.
