Don’t buy this for Mac Worked exactly 2 months, after which stopped connecting through both wifi and Bluetooth
Very expensive product plus expensive to purchase specialized labels. I was very disappointed with this product. It was expensive plus you could only use specialized labels. I'll purchase again whenever they allow to use regular labels.
DRM that checks the paper type and if it thinks its incorrect it will not print anything. This is one of the worst products i have ever bought. The DRM never allowed me to use it. I called brother support and they say it requires service. It was brand new out of the box. The strange part is it does detect the media when i click the check media but i have been unable to print. if its able to detect the media is the wrong type why doesn't it automatically fix it? This was my first and most likely my last brother product.
Very hard to connect and you can not use universal labels with this printer You can not use any other label except the ones specifically designed for this brand. It is not user friendly either. Even you print a shipping label from your phone it comes out so small the bar code runs together and can't be scanned. Looks great.. Semi quite. I'm very disappointed.
Labels I thought this label printer would be simple to change out labels with no interruption. When I got the QL-111ONWB, I also bought labels DK-1241 that was suggested to purchase with it. I set up the printer with the labels that it came with, when those ran out I installed the replacements, and now it will not recognize the size of the label which is the same as the ones I took out! Will not connect via bluetooth I was super excited to receive this printer and reduce trips to the post office. However, sadly it will not connect and it has not been in use. I keep trying and am having no luck with it.
Waste of money This is the crappiest printer, half the time it works the the half it doesn’t, can’t connect to it, I wish I could return it but too late now! Junk
Hard to get it to work from my phone This was out of stock for so long. It’s hard to be able to find a shipping label printer that’s Bluetooth capable and works great. I had previously purchased a cheaper no brand, and it worked but the labels were coming out blurry. I was excited to see this back in stock so I returned the crap one that stopped working completely, and finally bought this. Waste of Money. Desktop printer was better This printer is three times more expensive than our multifunction office printer, and yet it's only job was to print small labels. The printer would continuously go offline or have errors. Support was only thru chat and bringing the printer back online involved having to uninstall the program and reinstall with various steps, much more laborious than the desktop printer.
