Setup is impossible, Piece of junk printer & no support So I got this printer for printing labels from my online sales. Got it Saturday and have been trying to set this thing up since. Returned It Didn’t notice I was purchasing a renewed item. The printer was feeding paper in reverse. Had to return the next day. Thing is it was sold & shipped by Amazon. So much for the refurbishment department. Seems like it’s more of a repackaging department.
The most problematic printer you can own. If you are a mac user event though this printer is supposed to work. It just is very temperamental. It will work one day and then it will stop working the next. You need to constantly unplug the usb cord until it "recognizes" the printer. Multiple cords have been tried. Usb hubs have been tried. Everything! Brother support is virtually worthless and to this point have not come up with a solution. Great if you don’t need the wireless feature. This is great when you can get it tow work. If you don’t need the wireless feature, and don’t need to open pdf files in the Brother app, this is great. Meaning if your using it only to print properly sized labels from a wired connection on a computer, you’re good. If not, I can’t get it to work and Brother support is terrible.

Will only work with brother paper and won’t print labels the right size I rarely ever leave reviews and I would love to give this a five star rating, but I have contacted technical support and the seller of this item for separate times that was about two months ago and I still haven’t heard a response. This is an extremely expensive printer and it works very well with only brother paper I bought other paper to use for candle labels and it won’t print anything on the labels. The worst machine ever and in case you don't get a refund!!! DONT BUY THIS PRINTER This machine does not work at all. I've bought and installed the smaller version (QL-820 NWB) before and know how to install and this works properly. I sent then back for refund, got a label for the return paid 14$ and it was returned to me. TELESSENTIALS REFUSED DELIVERY
