Not made with Mac in mind If you have a Mac don't bother with this printer. I love Brother printers and assumed this one would work well with my Mac. I have only ever had good experiences with Brother before. I have been messing with this printer for almost 3 hours and I truly want to take a hammer to it. The software is absolute garbage. I succeeded in printing some clip art of a dog one time after 2 hours and now it won't print anything again. The blinking red light is infuriating.
this is so bad, information about printer is not clear I received the printer but can not use it because it was 120V, this information is not written any where in the printer page, our power here is only 220V, this is so bad, information about printer is not clear.

Prints ok but too much hastle to set it up. Prints ok when you get it to print. It’s a serious pain to print and set up. I think I will return it.

Terrible Software The machine is okay. But the software P-touch is so horribly hackneyed and out of dated quality... a lot of stopping, jams and slow response.

Order from another label manufacturer and save yourself some serious frustration. We ordered two and one didn't work directly out of the box so we got in touch with brother and they wanted to send a remanufactured printer to replace the brand new one so we returned it to Amazon and they were able to replace it with a new one. Once we tried to set it up for our company to print badges for an upcoming event and every step was a nightmare when we had an issue with the program not printing. Going in the garbage! Unfortunately not usable. We either get an error that the cover is open or it is just in error mode for no reason. The only way to sometimes get a few labels out of the printer is to unplug, wait a few minutes and then we can sometimes get a few labels printed. It also messes up a different label printer that we have attached to the same computer and as soon as we unplugged this printer the other one worked fine.

So far, I hate it. EDIT: After over an hour with Brother support chat, it turns out the printer is defective. It recognizes and prints address labels but not the 2.4". I just got this yesterday and am now going through a warranty return/replacement process. The one label I was able to print printed super fast... I am not an unsavvy tech user. I have a Mac.
