Worked for 2 weeks Never works consistently. Amazon needs to replace it. I've spent way too many hours on the phone to India with Brother help desk.
Typical Brother software issues with ratchet hold music meant to make you hang up!! Fresh install and it the editor software doesn’t recognize the QL-800, but instead recognized it as a QL-700 even though several minutes earlier on the software installation it auto recognized it as the QL-800. Deleted and performed another fresh install, same results. 2 hours’ worth of waiting on the phone for Brother with what is the absolute worst piano music in existence. Nah Works nothing like Dymo!!
QL-800 Does NOT work with Etsy Shipping Labels As of this writing (Dec 15, 2019), QL-800 is absolutely great for other types of labels, but does NOT work with Etsy shipping labels (official Brother help videos state it does print labels from Ebay). Once you create your Etsy postage shipping label, Etsy automatically formats it into a PDF for you to download and print. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MY MACBOOK! SO annoying. Doesn't come with the cords or adapters for my Mac. I bought the adapter and it said it was not enough power. I downloaded the software and it cannot recognize the printer. It's a loss for me. SHould've just been wireless.
Didn't even work Got the product, didn't have the P-Touch software for linux, and the printer doesn't event print with the after market software, it blinks red constantly. I will never buy refurbished ever again because the product doesn't even work. It was a waste of money. Will not be buying from brother because of the lack of software, and will certainly not be buying from this vendor for selling me a broken product. Not Good It is not user friendly
Not happy I tried to use for label printing from eBay, it does not. Only way is to take screen shot of the label and paste to their software and print it. Quality is not good.
