We've been taking our senior golden retriever (13) to Queen West Animal Hospital for years, and they've always been wonderful. Recently, we brought him in after he suddenly started peeing in the house and wasn't mobile (normally he's very active, so this was alarming). We got an appointment the next day, and the staff even gave us helpful advice over the phone in the meantime. I have been taking my dog here since 2013. The staff are extremely courteous as are the vets. It is very obvious they all love animals. The place has charm. The medical treatments, including surgeries, have been done well. I was well briefed and the outcomes were always positive. The vets seem very sensitive to cost. Nonetheless, If anything I wish they would have emphasized the need for dog teeth cleaning (under anaesthetic) as least every two years. I had to have some 6 of his teeth removed a few weeks ago. Quite simply, this is the best animal clinic I've used. As someone who is familiar with healthcare systems, I understand the importance of continuity of care. Realistically though, I've moved several times, which means I've tried at least four clinics across Ontario and Quebec. Although one of those clinics provides comparable medical care, the customer service at Queen West is unparalleled. I've been going to vets and researching vets for my three cats for over 20 years. This is, the best, hands down vet I've never been to. They are very accommodating and genuine. They let me wait in an examination room so my cat wouldn't freak out about the dogs in the main waiting room. The price is reasonable considering the exquisite care. No I'm not writing this under duress, I just want to help other pet owners in the area. All the best and good heath to your pets :)

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Morrison, RVT Donna and all the staff for their kindness and compassion today when helping us arrange euthanasia for beloved little "Matzoh Ball". As a fellow veterinarian I have always been so impressed by the way this clinic treats their patients and clients.

I highly recommend this clinic! I used to live around the corner from it, and recently moved to Mimico and still make the trek because it is worth it. They are honest and put the animal's health first. They don't try to dump a bunch of unnecessary costs on you and are willing to give you options of how to best care for your animal. They are friendly and clearly really love animals.

I came here a few times now to get my hairless chinese cresteds shots done. They are always super nice to us. We may have to wait 5-10 mins after our appointment but it's nothing major . The service is always exceptional and they really do care for my Larry just as much as I do.

I came here today after discovering a lump on my dog's chest--a pretty nerve wracking situation that had me facing a lot of inner turmoil. Thankfully it turned out to be lipoma, and pup is fine. (phew!) The service here was really fantastic though, and definitely put my mind at ease through the entire process. They were able to get me in the same morning I called to see Dr. Ferguson, and once I was there I was met with a pristine, clean, friendly environment.
