very helpful support staff. vets are lovely and totally take the time to answer all my questions. my dog loves going there and isnt afraid at all. location is good. hours are challenging sometimes and it can take a while to get an appointment. seems pricey too but arent all vets?

We recently had building works done on our basement, including some jack hammering, all the sounds and strange people in the house turned my cat, Disco, into a ball of stress, so much so she started to "eat" herself. She gnawed and chewed at the base of her tail until it was a mess, so off to the vet we went. I looked around on yelp and found Queen West who were highly rated, and only a short drive away. I'm always so impressed with the service here. Very professional and knowledgeable and the entire staff is an absolute delight! Super friendly and everyone always makes a fuss over my dog. Makes us feel like valued customers!

I've tried a few vets before, mostly by looking for the cheapest place to get my cats fixed or their shots up to date. They were very much an assembly line no-frills type of place where you could tell their key concern was getting you out of the way as quickly as possible. My dog Pearl recently got a bump on her and I didn't want to risk taking her to the cheapest place around but rather somewhere where she would get the care she needed. I'm gonna' start off by saying that I haven't had THAT much experience dealing with vets in my lifetime, BUT so far the folks at Queen West Animal Hospital take the cake. I recently moved to Toronto from Vancouver, and one of my kitties is not dealing with it that well. He is basically the most stressed in life ever. I looked up thishospital based on its recommendations and I am glad I did. The staff is so freiendly and caring. The customer service is amazing. They are always available. The hospital is clean and Everyone is as responsive and informative. I totally recommend this hospital for those who are first time pet owners like me.

I have been to many different vet hospitals over the years, and this is the absolute best. A few years ago, Scott Bainbridge solved an issue that other vets I had seen had not been able to help with. The change in my older dog was immediate - he had the energy of a puppy! In October of this year, this same dog, now nearly 15 years-old, had what appeared to be skin allergies. Being new to Toronto and not having any friends with pets in the city I used these reviews to choose my dogs new vet. Queen West is a bit out of the way for me but with the mostly wonderful reviews I decided to give it a try (thank god for dog-friendly public transit!). Our first trip was because my dog managed to get an infection on her neck and they managed to get us in the same day I called. I honestly can't even articulate how wonderful the staff is at both Queen and Dundas West Vet (same company, two locations). I had two cats pass away within months of each other. Dr. Fisher came to my home to put one of them down. I couldn't have imagined doing it any other way. The entire staff was SO supportive and compassionate. They really do care about you and your animal. Their number one goal is to make you and your animal happy and healthy. I would recommend these guys to everyone.
