**Update- they have apologized and explained some of the reasons they were so behind but I’m unsure whether it will get better in the future, I hope so. Always nice but they have no urgency at all in the service department. Last time I was here they forgot about my car for 3 hours (for a simple oil change) and this time it’s been 1.5 hours since my appointment and they are just now starting my oil change. Dishonest. Fiance took her car in for a check engine light. A car she bought there brand new. A car that ONLY Reliable Subaru had ever serviced. After letting her wait 4 hours without an update, they gave her a quote for $6,300. They also strongly implied to her that those repairs were necessary to her getting the car back in working order. On July 14th I drove 2 hours round trip from Urbana to Springfield to get oil change and tires rotated as I'm driving my 2015 Forester to Colorado at the end of the month.. My husband looked over the car yesterday. One tire is missing a lug nut and one tire does not have the matching lug nut. I will be calling service Monday morning. My husband is not happy!
Ok sales department, tried to screw us on trade in. Took car in for service on April 1, 2022. They contracted the window replacement to a third party, did the calibration of the computer themselves and then took over an hour and and one half to check me out because of incompetence. Horrible customer service did damage to my new STI several times and won’t take ownership of this issues. Never returns calls or messages!
Charge me 900 salt and dollars for a new coolant line to the Turbo from the expansion tank and an upper and lower radiator hose and apparently a coolant flush. To find out that none of the parts that they claimed to replace had even been touched and the car still overheats. In which they replied if it's on the ticket we did it. Have been going there for over 3 years to get our car serviced, be it scheduled milage maintenance or unscheduled maintenance and always enjoyed the friendly and honest service when dealing with Danny. Lately have been dealing with a service attendant Mitch and his service manager, who still has not returned my call placed prior to Thanksgiving. Granted, we drove up in a beat up old car, but we both have much nicer newer vehicles at home. The salesman wouldn't even talk to us. He just ignored us and giggled at my girlfriend's 85 chevy. We even tried to approach him at one point, but he just kept on walking.
I had a terrible experience yesterday with the service department. I told them about a section of my fender coming loose. They looked at it and said there was a clip missing but they didn't fix it! I also told them about a clicking sound in the rear when I make a continuous left turn. They said they couldn't hear any noise. Did they even drive the car?
