This has been my first time in treatment. Cecil (TA) deserves to be commended for all that he does for the residence at River Oaks. He has made me feel so comfortable the entire time in treatment and genuinely cares about all the residents here. He is always light hearted and is a giant advocate for the entire community. He has made my experience so enjoyable and has made a great impact on my road to recovery.
Jennifer (therapist) is so passionate about her work. She has been a tremendous help to me while in treatment and always goes above and beyond for all her clients. I’m always excited to have her for classes and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of treatment. Keep up the great work!
The staff members were great. The TA’s Mattie, Keita, Veronica, Kishan, Michael, Cecil, and Frank were friendly, courteous, and accommodating and always went the extra miles to help. Special shout out to TA Marco for being so awesome! Therapist Dimitrius, Trina, James, & Tony have awesome groups. My therapist Ian was also a great asset to my recovery. The nursing staff is phenomenal, I have a leg injury and everyone has been respectful and helpful, holding doors and helping me with my walker. There’s a great camaraderie here. I’ve been to several rehabs and this is the absolute best one I’ve ever been to. People complain about the food but I think it was great. The groups are good because they actually teach you about addiction and were very relatable. My therapist Jennifer was phenomenal and real easy to talk to, my time with her was very beneficial. A lot of people helped me, the whole staff has been great. My therapist Travis was good. I liked James DBT group. It’s a really excellent Community and good atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place. It’s been a great stay.
Everybody on staff was great. I liked the groups because everybody felt open to talk. The facility is clean. My therapist Christina helped me a lot.
Where do I start……I had such an AMAZING 30 days! From the staff to the clients….words will never be enough to say thank you! My therapist, my doctors, the TA’s and of course the clients. I met so many new best friends and they are amazing women! The group classes were so helpful! You meet some amazing women and share with everyone. I would like to acknowledge the staff, particularly: TAs Stacey, Debbie and Tonya and my Therapist, Karah. They were exceptional. The nursing staff, TAs, and lab techs, and kitchen staff were all great as well. I enjoyed the groups as well. I learned many great tools to help me in my recovery. I did a total of 60 days at River Oaks, and I feel very ready to go home and begin my new journey as a sober individual.
From the time me and my husband came in, I was really impressed by the intake nurse, she was wonderful & very informative because we had no idea what to expect. She was welcoming and everyone made me feel comfortable, down to the gentleman who loaded my luggage.
