My case manager Jennifer C. helped me handle all my short term disability claims with my job while I was here in treatment. She really helped to relieve a stressful time so I could focus on getting the treatment that I came for. She really stayed on top of my needs. Therapist Dimitrius runs a really powerful group that had a great impact on my recovery by helping me gain some perspective on my life and what’s ahead of me in my future. I recently detoxed at this facility and the staff were amazing. To name a few Mattie, Big Frank, Marc and the therapists. I would suggest anyone struggling with addiction to come and receive treatment. They make you feel like you are welcomed and comfortable.
Amazing and effective program
River Oaks was a great choice for treatment for myself. One of my favorite parts of the day was getting to say hi to Glenda in the Cafeteria at meal time. She was always so nice and seemed to truly care.
I have been to a few treatment centers and River Oaks by far has been one of the better places I have been in terms of client care and overall appearance of the campus/facilities. Pete who works with maintenance deserves kudos for all his hard work. You can find him daily addressing needs around the campus wether it’s picking up trash, fixing lights, servicing AC units, etc. He is definitely a team player and helps the facility run seamlessly.
Veronica, TA, soon to be Case Manager, is one of the sweetest, most helpful and kind person you could ever hope to meet. She always has a smile on her face, and is a pleasure unto be around.
Saffiyah, therapist, is incredible. If I could keep her as a therapist away from River Oaks, I absolutely would. She made me feel comfortable opening up and dealing with my issues. I felt very lucky to be able to work with her.
River Oaks had amazing TA’s that care about their residents in their community such as Stacy and Cecil. Stacy has been great and takes the time to get to know both the male and females clients she serves. She has done a great job welcoming me here and allowing me to feel comfortable the entire time in treatment. If there was ever anything I needed she would go above and beyond to accommodate. I had the pleasure of having Dr.Ceina take care of me while when I was a client. He is very thorough and made sure I was comfortable the entire length of my stay. The constant follow ups and personalized treatment approach was amazing. He really cares about his clients/patients.
