Lived there for 2 years. We got wrobbed twice, so naturally we wanted to move out and they would not let us out of our lease. Which seems like it's something they do often to people who get robbed there. Then they sued us when we left. The owner of this complex is trash. Has no care in the world about people's safety or concerns. Let's be clear I gave them a 1 star rating because a 0 wasn't available.
This place seems to be the crime capital of Castelton! Three incidents of theft or armed robbery in just my building in the last 3 months..... A channel 6 news reporter came knocking at my door after my neighbor was robbed at gunpoint... The response was a few brighter lights in useless areas and supposedly "security was hired". I'm yet to see ANY security or even feel secure in my own home for the last several months. This is my first review and I am giving them 2 stars...because I think that all they care about is the landscape to get people in... in my building I have seen people come and go within a few months... the people living in the apartment above me had their door kicked in... I think the place is going downhill.... After being a resident for a little over 2 months, my apartment was broken into while I was at home asleep. The management did nothing but change the locks (by the way, the reset to re-key the locks in on the outside. Go to any home improvement store and pick up a Kwikset smart key and you can enter any building on the property) the management was not even aware of the incident until I brought the police report in a few days later (as I did not stay there) they offered to move my unit, but that was quickly retracted and met ... read more
I have tried for a week to speak with Donna to talk about the move out statement. She will not return my calls and doesn't seem to be in the office. I have tried at different hours of the day and she is never there.
RecommendedIF YOU COULD GO ANYWHERE ELSE Do so. This apartment complex has gotten worse since this past summer. They allow contractors to do whatever they want whenever they want. Park and block roads so that residents can’t really get out of the complex or move around. The office pushes out emails that they don’t follow through with. July 25, 2017 Don't move in here! Unless you want your belongings stolen! Had a garbage disposal issue and $300 worth of video games disappear from a closed bedroom. And all they offer is a lock change?! Change the locks for the thieves with keys?! Great idea. I'll be moving when lease is up!!
