My mother lost her insurance while she was staying at riverwalk and they covered the cost for three days while we applied for emergency insurance. My mom and Astryd were on hold with the insurance representative almost the whole three days but they made sure it got done. They didn't have to do that, but went out of their way to make sure my mom was cared for.

I was trying to get a hold of my dad staying there today and Jessica answered the phone. She was very friendly and helpful. When I arrived to see him I met her in person. She again was very friendly and helpful. I appreciate the great service.

At first i wasn't very happy with the service here my mom has a lot of medical problems and she was exposed to covid 19 here which as a daughter terrified me the way the nurse director elma handled it was not appropriate she took tuings personally instead of understanding that we are in a pandemic and people are gonna be scared for their loved ones since we cant even see them! I asked her what the safety procedures are and she didn't like that told me I'm uneducated and my mol d9esnt like me... so i talked to administrator ... read more

I was a resident for 3 months, Sept-Dec 2019 and have mixed feelings. If we eliminate the long-term care aspect, condition of the rooms, and quality of food served, I would easily give them 5 stars, they have an exceptional staff. PRO's The CNA's, LVN's, and rehab therapists (including the RNA's) were the ones I spent the most time with. I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. Anyone who has spent any time at this facility would disagree with any of these past reviews. After being a patient here for just about a month, I cannot recall any situation, that would be considered as a negativ, in or at this facility. The Staff are truly AMAZING!! They are very active involved in the recovery of my illness. I was given many choices to place my mother and I was referred to Riverwalk. My mother was there for over 3 months. My experience there has been very good I have nothing but good things to say. The therapy department and the director of nurses and her staff have been very supportive throughout my Mother's Stay. I am very pleased to say that my mother has received excellent care. I would recommend this place to anyone. Everyone in the facility was helpful.

Great place ... took amazing care of my grand mother... the staff is friendly .. the management is great, the therapist are educated ... they good a great job at this place ... may God bless them all...

My Grandma recently stayed at Riverwalk after her knee surgery, the staff was very attentive and focused on her well being and recovery. The Administrator Dave and social worker Maggy were very involved from day one. The facility is clean and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. I was relieved to have peace of mine that my grandmother would be taken care of when I was not able to be there with her. I recommend Riverwalk to anyone looking for good physical therapy and nice and friendly staff.
