I purchased a Lennar home in 2022 that came with a minimum number of panels. I'm quite disappointed that Lennar does not allow you to go with a vendor of choice or modify/add to the existing design before purchase. Adding Solar panels was completely foreign to me. The team at Solar Optimum was fantastic. They communicated every step of the way and were extremely easy to get a hold of if I had questions. There was virtually no work on my part other than getting HOA approve and signing a few documents. Solar Optimum managed every other aspect of the project and communication with the city and SCE.
