We have lived in our house since 2013. Our garbarge service has always been with Bestway. A rumpke can was abandonded by rumpke and previous owner in 2013. In Dec 2021 we receive a bill for service with rumpke!!!! Their driver Eden sees the can (which was left 8 yrs ago) on the curb and initiates service without our knowledge and we start receiving a bill even though they had never picked up garbage at our address!!!!!!!!!!! This is the worst trash company I have ever had. I was not given a choice but Mid State Waste sold off some of their business to Rumpke. What a bad move. My trash has been sitting at the edge of the road for three days and no pick up. There are people that live on the same road who have had their trash picked up, no logical reason for this. I tried Rumpke a few years ago and their service was horrible then. They do not pick up on the day that it is scheduled. Awful service and would not recommend them to anyone.
********************* container had been continuously moved from spot until it was app.4 ft from position( which puts it to my driveway) .Left a sign to please move back ( with marking and a thank you attached). Instead was moved further into my drive. Called and asked specifically to relocate( did not say anything mean). Driver returned that day and when I saw him out went to explain.his reaction was not to acknowledge me , was VERY rude( as I had done something wrong) to the point I left the area and hoped for the best.
Customer service is complete garbage. (No pun intended) Driver missed my house last week. They were suppose to return to pick up within 24-48 hours since they missed. They never returned. I called daily and got the same story. Then trash pick up day came around again. 2 reps told me to set out any extra bags I had and since they missed last week they would pick up the cans and the extra bags. They did not. I have a questioned Rumpke about their pricing with no satisfactory answer. I am single senior with one bag of garbage a week how can they justify charging me the same as a family of four or six. How can they justify charging someone that lives within a mile cheaper than me. There is no answer they have given me that justifies this. Missed trash pick up. Called company to let them know. Was told they would send driver out but they never did. Called in to inform that no one had come out. Was put on hold for 12 minute then they hung up. Tried calling back and was transferred to different location. Poor customer service
I’ve been with rumple for years now and problems have always gotten solved or taken care of until now. I put my trash out on a Tuesday night for pick up Wednesday morning. My trash can was shut and not even full and there was no trash sitting on or around it. It was missed that Monday so I decided to wait a day and see if they just didn’t get to our area. I've never had a trash company stress me out so much my trash has been on the curb for a week and each day I was on the phone with them having them tell me they're going to pick it up. For the past eight weeks consecutively I've had to call them and babysit because they won't pick up my trash and then they still take days after that. This has got to be one of the worst trash collection companies out here. Shut my service off after calling them multiple times letting them know I havent received a bill. They blame it on the postal service but I get all my other bills.
